Not true. If I were to eat 5000 calories of fat and protein a day, for example, and no carbs, it would not work. Paleo diets work if energy use exceeds calorie intake. The imaginary eating like a caveman part has nothing to do with it.

It's most likely an inaccurate scale.

Scale weight is inaccurate and meaningless. If you feel good, keep at it and reevaluate after a few months.

If you've lost more than 10 lbs you may need to reset your calorie goals based on your new weight. If not, be patient, be extra sure you are logging accurately.

This is not accurate. Some simple carbs are fine within a calorie deficit.

I think your calories burned estimate is quite high, take a close look. P90 is mostly weight training, which doesn't burn many calories. (Not knocking it, it can have other benefits.)

Any measure of daily progress is not going to be very accurate. Even weekly isn't that much better. Sorry, it just doesn't work that way.

That is a lot of swimming. You might enjoy it more if you change up the distance and intensity and/or mix in some different activities. Most people get bored with the same thing week after week if there's no goal or variety.

It depends on your goals and what you're doing. If you are new to training, it's a good idea to start with more rest and recovery time and to gradually build endurance.

Heavy is better for preserving muscle mass. Look into a 5x5 style beginner's program.

It doesn't matter when or if you drink it. If your goal is fat loss, look into high intensity interval training and lifting heavy. They are the most helpful forms of exercise for your goal.

Consider changing your goal. Instead of being a certain weight or looking a certain way by a certain date, think about being a little healthier every day from now on. Hope you feel better soon. :)

Your maintenance calorie estimate seems like it might be too high. Weight training doesn't burn a lot of calories, relatively speaking. Maybe look into getting as accurate estimation of your activity level as you can.

No diet can make you lose from the belly, other than would come from losing fat everywhere from a caloric deficit. It's just a marketing ploy.

You lose both, that can't be changed. Lifting heavy weights will mitigate the muscle loss, but it is inevitable. It's nothing to worry about.

Bad news: you can't change the size of your thighs very much no matter what you do. It's genetic. Good news: Nobody other than you ever, ever notices or thinks about the size of your thighs.

A calorie deficit is the key to weight loss. Cardio and resistance training both have benefits, but weight loss isn't the primary one. That being said, running or walking outside is fun and worthwhile, give it a try. Just don't expect results without a deficit.

If you look good and lost inches, what difference does it make what the numbers are? If you eat more calories you'll gain more weight.

A good rule of thumb is to lose 1% of body weight a week. You might also look into some basic resistance training that can be done at home to mitigate the muscle your going to lose.
