I used to , but what helps me is to log EVERYTHING I eat. If I go over then big deal, I'll try to make up for it later in the week. Otherwise I would just go crazy and eat poorly
-
I'm in Madison, but I'm in Henry all the time. My parents live outside of Sulphur Springs and they watch my son.
-
I've seen that, it's so crazy, but a good idea especially for kids that are around water a lot
-
You could try 1200 net, so add in breastfeeding and exercise. Just see how it goes with losing and supply
-
I mean net, so I have 1400 plus breastfeeding. Which I put in what I pump so that gives me around 700 more calories total plus exercise.

Yes I do. I got the cuisinart baby food processor, and LOVE it! It is a steamer and processor all in one. You just chop up the food, put it in the thing, add water to another part to steam...then when it's done steaming mix it up! I know this was greatly descriptive, I would highly recommend it if you don't own a food…

I wouldn't think the pack and play would confuse him. I would think it would be good for him to get used to not sleeping in the swing, even during the day. As for advice, I"m not sure, I guess we just got lucky. Miles has always slept in his cradle then crib at night, and used to nap a lot during the day in his swing. Hang…

I have found figuring calories by EBF is hard! I've had the best success with 1400 net. To account for bf just put it in your diary under foods and it will take away the calories. I have a fitbit and that is how I do it. Good luck. I haven't really lost much since the initial weight, but some do better than others.

Just try to make sure at night you aren't giving a lot of attention, just eat/change and back to bed. Keep the lights low too. This is what I did with my son and he is a great sleeper, maybe just a coincidence but I think it helped him differentiate night and day. Also the swaddle is a good idea. Hang in there. This may…

Miles was 9lb3oz when he was born, around 14 at 2 month, 18 at 4 months, and I'm sure he's at least 20 at 6 months...his appointment is 6/7 so we will see. He gets breastmilk so who knows. I though I read that breastfed babies weigh more in the first 6 months and then it evens out or something...who knows...as long as our…

LOl at hot dog in the hallway :)

I'm with you on the virgin thing! I think it's been like 5 or 6 times in 6 months, but I'm with you, I'm not really into it and I'd rather sleep...poor hubs!
-
I understand as well, although fortunately my schedule is a little more flexible. Some ideas...have you tried giving him a bottle of pumped milk at night...maybe he would sleep longer? I think that's part of the reason Miles is such a good sleeper. Also, have you thought about getting a fitbit? It would help you be more…

I understand, luckily I only have one! I didn't clean the floors (hardwood) until a few weeks ago since Miles was born. I mean I swept and stuff, but first time cleaning them in over 6 months!

Lately I've been netting 1400, so I subtract what I pump which gives me 700-800 calories and I eat most of my exercise calories back. I think it has finally been working for me and my supply hasn't been affected. I would say at least 1800.

I'm with ya on the pants. I finally got down to one size bigger....but only in a few brands!
-
haha, Miles tries to eat his books too...makes it hard to read! Thanks ladies. In the next few months I might try eating as not being the last thing before bed. even after he eats he is often still awake and will "talk" to his mobile or make his dinosaur screams, but almost always falls asleep on his own.
-
I still eat like I'm pregnant...but I guess I'm bf so it isn't too bad. I just eat too much crap!
-
So I'm fortunate my MIL isn't very involved?? :)

Thanks, I will adjust the weight. I workout in my sports bra and underwear, so not much added weight...unless you count the shoes. I am just getting back into shape so I figured that's part of the reason it's higher. When I used my bodybugg it always ready around 10cal per minute, but that doesn't take into account effort.…

I add my breastfeeding/pumping calories in under food, for 500 calories a day.

Welcome. I have a 5 month old son, my first. I have 30lbs to lose still.
-
That's pretty good :) I never really tried sleep training. Luckily Miles just kind of fell into a nighttime sleep. he has always been an irregular napper, but who cares. My schedule is erratic too. I personally HATE schedules, that's why I can't stand a regular 9-5 job, so I don't expect him to be on a set schedule either.…

I wish I had a solution, but I have the same problem. I gained around 65 and lost about 35 so far. I didn't lose anything until about 2 weeks ago then maybe it was down 2lbs. The only thing I changed was doing Jillian Michael's ripped in 30. I ate the same, and many of those days I ate 2500+calories. I also seem to adjsut…

Yes that's what I meant. I have thought about trying the middle, but just haven't yet. I'm sure my car is about the same size as the accord.
-
I'm also looking, my infant one only goes up to 22lbs and he's over 18! But I did a lot of reading about safety and it seems the consensus is it's safest to keep them rear racing as long as possible. I am going to find one that goes rear for up to 40lbs since I have a big guy. I am also concerned about room. Even though I…

Most of his main friends are single without kids, so that doens't help. We don't really have any close couple friends with or without kids. I think if that was the case it would be much easier because Miles and I would be more included. I'm sorry you ladies are also going through some of this. He just justifies everything,…

Thank you ladies. I think that thing that bothers me the most is what he says and what he does doensn't always coincide. Like earlier today he said it would be no big deal to watch Miles so I could go to the store, well it's almost 9 and he's not home. He also said before he thought it was unacceptable to be out that late…

Feel free to add me. I gained close to 70, have lost about 40 and have 30 to go 4.5 months pp. It's just not coming off. I'm going to try switching up some food things ( I do eat poorly) and I have started JM ripped in 30. I am really hoping to lose some inches!

I just want to let you know that you're not alone. I was 155 pre-preggo, was around 225 when I delivered and now I'm stuck around 187-190. I have tried anywhere from 2000-2700 and my weight stays the same. I am going to try exercising more regularly to see if that helps. I currently have my calories to set to 2300 (do not…
