Question to those who are eating 1600+ and losing...what are your macros? Where are most of your calories coming from - protein or carb??

Avocados are sooo good and they're good for you! On vacation in Hawaii recently, I got big huge giant avocados and ate 1/2 of it in one sitting..no dinner that night. I was full until the next morning. I wish we got those here (or the TSA let me bring them on the plane..) Anyways, don't sweat it!

Read this again. Do NOT eat below your BMR or you're doing more damage to your body.

Day 3 is the worst. After day 4 the soreness is mostly gone. If you continue to have pain check your form. Those jump squats are hard on the knees (I think they're in level 3 tho). Soreness is worst in the morning or after sitting a long time. It gets better as day goes on. For me soreness is always better after a workout…

His mom kicked him out. Clue #1 Now he wants to go to grandma Clue #2 He asked for 1 night and is still there 3 nights later. Kick his *kitten* to the curb. He's a freeloader and won't get subtle hints.

I am vegetarian. Feel free to look at my diary.. Typical day for me looks like eggs & wheat bread for breakfast, brown rice or wheat pasta for lunch, wheat chapati or brown rice with side vegetable & greek yogurt for dinner. Snacks include apple or banana with PB, nuts, avocado, string cheese, etc. I've found with eating…

Most digital scales have a memory..if u do 2 weighins close together it will just show the first reading again. I trick it by picking up my vanity mirror or my toddler and weighing again.

Calories,Carbs,Fat,Protein,Sugar,Sodium I sometimes switch the micro nutrients to iron, fiber, potassium, calcium..just to see if there's anything I need to pay attention to.

Feel free to look at my diary (though yesterday is probably not a good day to look). When I began I had too many carbs & fat, not enough protein. I've added greek yogurt, nuts, PB, string cheese, and sometimes have a protein shake with yogurt to increase protein. My next things to try are quinoa and edamame. I'm not so…

See, I'm a software developer and whenever I see the message I think to myself - it would be good to have a range of + or - 5% to get a congratulatory message and flashing lights ;) That's what I would have done haha Anyways, it's just a message programmed into the software. It sure amuses me though when it predicts how…

Search 'breastfeeding' under food. It has several options..I only discovered it last week! I am nursing my toddler at night and weekends...I give myself 200 calories. I eat my exercise calories and BF calories and am losing weight.

I have Lowfat Cabot..it contains pasteurized milk, skim milk, whey protein concentrate, milk protein concentrate, live active yogurt cultures, enzymes, vitamins. SO it doesn't have gelatin or corn starch but has whey & milk protein added. I think that should be ok. I don't mind the taste at all. It has 22g protein per…

When you start working out, or work out harder than before your muscle fibers tend to hold water to repair (that's what I've heard). It leads to slight gain or no loss. Also, you can't expect to bring big numbers every week! Keep at it you will see a loss soon. Also I love the measuring tape more than the scale. It is…

Yep - keep doing what you're doing. Less weight means less stress on your body. It's great that you're running. Just don't deprive your body of the nutrients..eat whole grains, lean protein, etc. and let the weight come off. It's easier when you're younger :)

Go down to fitness area..there's tons of people doing it..i think there is a group just started too. I log it under circuit training for 25 min.

Pick up a Jillian Michaels DVD..they're under $10. There's tons of threads about them here. 30 Day shred seems to be the most popular. It really helped me get started with working out at home.

Honestly, my toddler eats double than the amount you eat! It's not healthy for an adult to be eating this little. There is literally NO fat in the menu you described and very little protein. You really need to start eating to kick your metabolism into high gear.

Do you know your TDEE? This is the measure of how much energy you are spending in a day. http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/tdee-calculator.html Once you know your TDEE, to lose a lb a week, you'll subtract 500 and arrive at the figure which is the amount of calories you should be eating per day.
