  • I agree! Measurements are key! Who cares what the scale says, as long as you look and feel good! (I know, easier said than done, since most of us obsess over the numbers on the scale:) But, seriously, maybe taking a few weeks off from the scale would benefit you! Stick to healthy eating and exercising (and logging) and…
  • Me too! I would much rather have a snack later in the day! I usually have a cup of coffee with cream and a 100 calorie bar!
  • Hey, I'd love to join if there is still room on a team. Not sure I could do the whole captain role, as this whole thread thing confuses me:) Heather

  • I started making my own granola. Super healthy, filling, and you can put in whatever you like! I love pecans and craisins. Also, to cut down on the calories and fat a bit I did half the oil called for and replaced with applesauce. Not too bad tho, when I entered my recipe into MFP it was 130 calories for 1/3 cup. Plus,…

If he can get thru this next week, without being too discouraged (and binge eating which was often the case with me), he should start to see a more normal weight loss amount (1-2 lbs per week) in the weeks to come!…
  • I try to count every calorie because when I get to the end of the day, and I have a couple hundred left over calories (like from excercise or something), I want to know that when it tells me what my weight will be in 5 weeks, that it's actually accurate. You might be surprised how many uncounted little calories add up!…
  • I go to weight watcher meetings when I can and weigh in when I cant'! It's a great to have both MFP and WW for me! I don't really follow the WW plan, because their new one is really confusing. But, I keep track of all my calories on here, and have been losing. So, that's all that matters I guess:) Good Luck to you!
  • Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone out there! I visited your page (hope you don't mind:) and it sounds like you have SO much to live for! But, not just to live, but LIVE WELL! So, as someone who can't afford to buy all the processed weight loss food out there, I am here to tell you that you can stock up on…
