It is my understanding from my surgeon that I need around 70 every day forever. Check with your surgeon or visit a dietician/nutritionist for post bariatric patients. They can tell you for sure.

It certainly can. I was tired a lot and had absolutely no energy. When the doctor tested me he found that my iron was good but my B12 was nearly nonexistent. My motivation is to wear all the slim clothes I bought when I weighed much less. Pumps are also a strong motivation because it sounds like we have matching granny shoes (no offense to you real grandma's).

When I was nursing my 3 sons, my doctor told me to drink lots of fluids to sustain a good milk supply. I was on a 1,200 calorie per day diet and it didn't affect my supply at all. Try lowering your food to 1,500 and see how it goes. If it goes well, drop it to 1,200 and see what happens.

I love new friends. On a positive note, don't be too hard on yourself....you caught it at 4 lbs. There are a lot of us that wish we had "got it" at 4 lbs.
