It's great that you are losing weight to be healthier.....but if you want to take your shirt of now...who cares? I feel more comfortable being on the beach or at the pool when there are guys around who don't look "perfect" either. We're all human beings with flaws :-).......enjoy yourself! But I'm all for getting healthier…

Also...I like to think of the weight as sticks of butter....11 pounds is 44 sticks of butter ....that would be a lot of inches!

That's so funny! I'm sure they washed the dress in hot water and it shrunk? Just kidding....I know they do this to the sizes....we like to fool ourselves :-)

It happens......I've been sick too. When you're body tells you to rest, it's best to listnen to it. I'm sick for the 3rd time now, and I'm gonna wait till I'm completely recovered this time! I tend to lose weight when I'm sick because I have no appetite, so that's at least one good thing :-)

I love to grill chicken, fish and vegetables on it...no special recipe......i just use a little olive oil so the stuff won't stick. You can grill lots of different veggies, but my favorite is zuchini.....put a little olive oil and balsamic vinigar on it after it's grilled...yummy!!

The only reason you gain weight when you quit smoking is because you tend to snack instead of smoking. If you are keeping track of your calorie intake, and choose healthy snacks, there is no reason for you to gain weight.

For me, watching movies like " Food Inc"..."King corn"..."Food matters"..just to name a few made me realise the junk they put in fast food, and also most of the " snacking" foods. This made me want to eat organic food only, and that makes it so much easier not to overeat.

I've been here 75 days and have lost about 17 pounds....it's really working for me. I love logging everything I eat...I never understood why I was gaining weight because i thought I didn't eat much. This is helping me understand how much my body needs ( not much)....and how quickly calories add up, even in tiny snacks :-)…

Whatever..I'm NOT going to stop eating a few pieces of fruit a day... Give me a break, they are the most natural things we eat! Get them organic and enjoy them.

You can get peanut butter without added salt and sugar...you want it all natural without hydrogenated oils... Even though it's high in fat, they are good fats that your body needs, and it will keep you feeling full. Just don't eat too much more than a tablespoon at a time :-)

I totally agree!!.... People need to get educted about the foods they eat, and feed their families.

Disagree....if you get organic peanut butter, it's a very healthy fat and great source of protein.

I guess everybody will say he is shallow....yet we are all the same way. Physical attractiveness has a lot to do with who we choose as a partner. ( yes girls, we care too) Can't say I blame him. It's also a heath issue. Maybe he will keep you on the right track now that you've lost weight? I'm sure everyone else will tell…

If you are actually still hungry...you may not be eating enough. I can't see your diary, so I don't know how many calories you are getting.. I heard somewhere that it takes your brain about 20 minutes to register that you have eaten...so lots of people overeat because they don't think they're full....so eating slower would…

Sorry about the death in your family. Sometimes things in life change your priorities for a while. But...you're back!! Good for you! Good luck getting back on track...those 6 pounds will come off quickly :-)

I had a c-section ( 26 years ago).....and have worn my bikini after that...no pooch...no scar showing.... You can absolutely have a flat tummy.

Water, unsweetened green tea...and natural fruit juices( no sugar added). Also vegetable juice. Diet drinks are bad because they are full of artificial sweeteners ( nasty stuff)....and also you will never get rid of your addiction to sweet tasting stuff...

I know! Once you start reading, and watching movies about the foods we put in our bodies it's so much easier to resist them! And the stuff we feed our children is just disgusting........also in their school lunches... It's all very sad, I wish more people would get educated on this subject. But most of them just don't want…
