I wake up every morning and I tell myself "I can do this".

I finally decided to start wearing a lightweight backpack and then I attached velcro to strap it down to my front to keep it from swinging while I am jogging. It isn't exactly a fashion statement but I am very happy with the results.

I walked 90.94 miles in July. Was rained out some days. Aiming for over 100 in August!

Now. I weigh less now than I have in 20 years. But I have never before taken eating healthy seriously. But now I do. I'm not where I want to be yet, but every day is one step closer to being in even better shape.

The place I have lost weight in is my chest and arms. I find myself touching my collerbone a lot. It's been so long since I have seen it, I had forgotten it was there. So no, it isn't just you.

last week I did 31.82 3/11 6.84 3/12 6.67 3/13 6.69 3/15 7.13 3/16 6.21 33.54 this week. That is a total of 65.36 for March so far.

I have an Adkins shake for breakfast. Just 1 gram of sugar, and fruit and cheese when I am in the mood. Quick easy breakfast.
