So inspiring!!!! I am about to be 33 and I am working my butt off (ha!) to get healthy. I am tired of feeling sluggish at this age and have rededicated myself to getting healthy. Thanks for the Sunday Inspiration!

As a teacher, Sunday is my prep day for the week. I am making plans, grading papers, getting activities together, etc. As long as my hands are occupied I won't eat. If I don't have any work to do I will work on a crochet project or read. Since the sun is beginning to come out here I am also getting outside more. Loving it!

Hi! Almost to mid-30's. 33 is looming in the near future! Nice to meet you :)

I read somewhere that weight can fluctuate between 5 - 7 pounds each day for women due to water retentions, hormones, etc. Tons of reasons. That's why it's best to weight at the same time each time. Most people say before breakfast with as few clothes as possible ;) Also, some people choose to weigh during the week as we…

I think I got lucky this time around. I had given up on my diet coke with lime addiction before and it had about driven me mad. I had intense cravings and headaches. I eventually just gave in a drank one, then another, and before I realized it I was back to drinking soda whenever I was stressed or needing a pick-me-up.…

I did great for a while, but now the weight has crept back up. Looking to say good-bye to at least 80 pounds! NewMsT

I am a super science geek (it does help that I am a middle/high school science teacher). I got my first one when I turned 30 and it's the Autobots logo from Transformers. I was born in the 80's so the love was already there. Also, I love the idea that there's more to me than meets the eye! My second one, I just got in…

I love my Fitbit! I got mine back in August 2012 and haven't looked back. It has motivated me immensely. On a good day I will hit 6500 steps before my work day is done. Then I come home and get to moving so that I can reach my 5 miles per day goal. It really has made me focus more on being active throughout the day. I…

Hi! I use MFP on my Android phone and my Ipad. :)

I have been on bp meds for about 4 years now. My doctor calls me a walking time bomb as my unmedicated averages are around 203/190. The nurses always, and I mean always, panic when I come in because I really think they worry about me killing over in their office. My high bp is genetic but I do hope that losing weight can…

I am a recently converted soda drinker. Growing up in southern Georgia it was common to drink sweet tea and soda rather than water. As I have traveled down the path of getting healthier I switched to diet soda. My favorite is Diet Coke with Lime! But here lately it just doesn't taste as great as it did before. I take that…

Feel free to add me! I am on here every day.

That's great! I tend to lose a little and then get stuck for WEEKS!! It is so frustrating but I just have to work through it this time and I know it'll get easier. We can do it!

I want to sign up for one, Color Run that is! They've got one in Portland, OR and I am waiting on it! This is our year :) My breaking point was always being the heaviest person in the room. I teach in a rural Oregon junior/senior high school and I am always the "chubby" one in the room and it gets old really quickly. I…

I have PCOS too and have realized that as the weight comes off my cycle gets a little more regular, thankfully! I do find that it is much more difficult to lose weight for me. Others around me eat similar foods and the weight just drops off while I am stuck with 1 pound every two weeks if I am lucky. I am hoping that I can…

Hi there! Looking to lose 50ish pounds before June...my 32nd birthday :)

Nice job! You look awesome :) I am starting at 240, working hard to get down to 175. Doing good so far but I always have the hardest time once I get to 226-227. That's my plateau weight for some reason. Not this time though! I am going to bust through this and be healthier than ever. Thanks for the inspiration!

Seeing how others have found success on this sometimes aggravating road helps me keep going! Thanks to all those that are brave enough to post their stories here!

WOW!! Great inspiration! You look amazing, and so happy! :)

That the bank held my money in a safe spot and that when I went back to get it I would get the same exact bills that I had given them. Totally destroyed me when I realized that they gave my money away and gave me money from a stranger! :)

Hi there! I am working on the soda habit too. I am a confessed Diet Coke addict ;) Since the beginning of the year I have only had 3 cans..whoo hoo! Today was the third can because I woke up with a headache and thought the caffeine would help but man oh man did that taste terrible. Yes, I just stated that the drink I used…

Add me too!! I am on the same journey.
