And that there, folks, is how you sell a new product when you can't continue to make enough money on the old one. :) If your 1985 Ferrari still runs - drive her all the time!

No one has responded to this? I'm curious as well - the search only found this question?

I eat.

^^^this....is borderline illegal. I would have sacked him in his naughty bits. But that too is questionable behavior.

LOL..ah....i love sarcasm. Your body loves you, don't do this.

I don't believe anyone should be treated as "subhuman" because of their weight. We may as well start yelling at disabled folks and kicking puppies. That show (and most reality tv) just isn't right on so many sociological levels.

The first pounds sometimes fall off pretty quickly as your body adjusts. But for long term success and a lifestyle that reflects the new you - you are going to want to only lose 1-2 lbs per week. That is realistic and going to prove more successful for you in the end. Keep up the good work and mentally remind yourself that…

When I first starting running (new shoes), sometimes my feet would get tingly and numb. I ended up loosening my shoe laces and found out I was tying my shoes too tight. That in no way means that would be your problem - and I would definitely get that checked out just in case.
My advice would be to reevaluate the amount of anxiety you may have over social events and Chinese food.
^^^^This made me laugh - but in a sad way, it sounds like me. I truly get anxious going out to eat, or being confronted with any type of food situation that I may not be able to navigate gracefully.…

Probably me too...I know what I'm eating makes sense, but when I log it - it looks like odd combinations.

I'm going to be very honest here. Your journey will go much more smoothly, and in the end, be much easier, if you start now by dropping the word "fat" from your vocabulary and start talking to yourself in a more loving manner. Weight loss/healthier living/control of your diet/exercise - those are all things that are…

I agree that you seem to be eating a lot of fruit - get those veggies in there. Your plate should be colorful - in a good fruity/veggie way. I eat 5 small meals a day - not three, and I try to avoid processed food as much as possible (contains a lot of salt, etc.). Also, try to keep your fat under 15 per each meal.…

Your weight will fluctuate something fierce - not just now, but always until you get "normal" for you. I know that sounds odd, but you can't freak out every two days you step on a scale and it's a pound or two off. Keep moving, keep eating well, and keep seeing results. :) Way to go on a great start to a healthy lifestyle!

Watch your food. Watch your exercise. Watch your stomach shrink back to normal. I'm not sure how old your little boy is, but it took nine months to pop that belly out to hold him, it's gonna take a little time to get it all back in. Your skin has some natural elasticity to it, let it do it's thang. ;)

Good luck! It sounds like fun - I would love to go to Maine someday. I did one last year called the Warrior Dash. I did okay (just under 50 mins for a 5k) but the one thing that really slowed me down was the water portion. I'm not sure if you are going to have a water portion on this race, but it was difficult for me to…

Also, I agree that if you are getting enough sleep, nutrition, etc., the loss of energy may be indicative of a more serious issue - and you may perhaps want to consult a doctor.

I hate exercising almost every minute of the day. UNTIL, I get on the treadmill, or pick up the weights, or sign into class, etc. I KNOW it's not the "funnest" thing in the world for me some days. So I make a deal with myself every morning I wake up and I can't stand the thought of that treadmill, I do this: Get ready, get…

No. I believe in a "Cheat Meal" - but not an entire day. It's also still relatively healthy - nothing too overboard for me. Saturday we went to Outback Steakhouse and I had steak, lobster tail, baked potato with sc/butter, a salad (w/vinegar/oil dressing) and two glasses of wine. That's my "Cheat Meal" and it was WAY over…

It's not going to go well for you if you don't learn to like some greens veggies! :) Here's why: http://nutiva.com/articles/nutrition-on-the-run-%e2%80%93-eating-well-in-a-busy-life/

I'm 1200 a day, but end up with more after my workouts. I definitely don't starve at 1200 a day, because I eat 5 times a day. I don't have time to get hungry. LOL It's WHAT you eat, and HOW OFTEN you eat it that counts to weight loss. :) Feel free to add me! I'm always looking for motivation. :)

I'm 38, married with two kids, work a full time job, do photography on the side and attend school part time. Whew - that made me tired just typing it. Feel free to add me!
