  • Answering self: I found a site that calculates the calories for all the levels of this workout. Awesome! And after Day 2 I am referring to this as Jillian's House of Pain. :D
  • You are amazing!! You motivate me!! And I agree with others: the best thing about those pics is your beautiful, happy smile. Never give up! :)
  • Oh. Em. Gee. Just finished my first go at Jillian's level 1. Yikes!! Kicked my *kitten*, my legs are noodles, I'm dripping. Whew!! And question: How do you figure the calories burned for this workout? I want credit for this hard work!
  • MPF has really helped me too -- keeping track not only of calories but portions, categories (fat, carbs, etc.) and how much exercise impacts things. The mobile app is awesome too! And it's go great not doing it alone. :)
  • LOL Gosh, you're giving lots to look forward to! :D Thanks for the info.
  • I usually walk when the weather's not too bad; rebounder and Pilates chair inside. Y'all have inspired me: I'm going to try the 30 day shred. I'm viewing the video online for now; is the idea to do it every day for 30 days?
  • I like Wendybird's breakdown: some people just don't know exactly what you need in the way of support. It's worth telling them and asking for specific kinds of help. • That dress is a motivator for sure -- it's a knockout! And you'll be a knockout in it. Part of what's keeping me focused is the thought of wearing cute clothes next summer. I want to look like a cool grannie! I join you in rededicating myself to this process. My weight loss has been so slow, and I'm thinking I need to kick…
  • Hi, I'm Janne and I'll do my best to support you. I could use a boost now and then too! MFP has been a HUGE help to me keeping track of what I'm eating. I've actually found it easy to stay at or under my calorie goal every day, and it's also helping me adjust WHAT I'm eating and when. My weight loss is slow but steady; I'm…
  • So good to read everybody's stories. What amazing women we are! I weighed 120-130 throughout college and early adulthood, had a bit of a struggle getting back to that weight after my son was born (30 years ago...), and then was active and in good shape for many years. And then I retired. It was such a change in routine,…
  • Love group support! I'm TheTsunamiofKarma. :)
