We do the same thing as the other posters, I cook one meal. I eat less, they eat more. I also "bulk" up the meal by adding sides such as rice, pasta, etc. I also make rolls or some other bread with butter for them. I try to also make sides that I know the kids will like just in case they don't like the main course.

I did my first 12 years ago, my second in May and am leaning towards doing one in October..

Cinnamon chip scone..

I ran a half the first week of May.. it technically was my second but my first was 12 years ago. I am probably going to do one in the fall too.

I have it and love it.. when I got it I was only interested in heart rate, distance and pace and didn't want to spend tons of money so this one definitely fit the bill.

My family feels the same way about crock pot dinners.. We can only do soup or stews or something with shredded chicken. I am still trying to find ideas for our busy nights because I usually stop home, make something and eat in the car... The favorite right now is 1) black bean quesadilas... warm a tortilla in a saute pan,…

Short workouts are also welcome since many of us are tight on time. Working full time means I work out when the kids are sleeping since I have limited time with them already.

Great way of putting it! I have been closet shopping too and it cost me 29 pounds. i have been wearing clothes that I bought before my second pregnancy.. Today i am wearing some pants I never thought I would fit in.

This is funny... I haven't really considered myself a "runner" even though other people would. I just finished a half marathon on Sunday and run 4-5 days a week and still have a hard time calling myself a runner..
-
Another option if you are willing to fundraise is to look into Team in Training. They set out a training plan for you with group runs.

I am also petite.. .5'0 even for me. SW: 143 CW:114.. My goal was 115 but just reached it today and think I might try for getting down a couple more. I am planning on upping my calories very soon even though I already eat over 1400 and eat back most of my exercise calories.

I usually have anywhere from 1-5 drinks on the weekend. I make sure to log it. I admit there isn't always room for it so it can make me go over. It hasn't affected my weight loss.

I also wear the Saucony Kinvaras because they still give a bit of cushioning but are lightweight. I came across them by accident not realizing they are minimalist and don't want to switch back.
-
I also have a 20 month old! However it is a boy.. :) I also have a 6 year old son. I love getting ideas from other mommies who might be crunched on time and do serve and eat kid foods :)

i think I use Secret Platinum Protection..

5'0 with a goal weight of 113-115.. almost there..
-
Same body type for me.. my thighs never want to let go and regardless of what I do, it is the last to lose. As I am closer to goal, they are finally getting smaller.

I would do what feels comfortable since you are coming off an illness. If you are struggling, keep to the plan and don't push it too hard.
-
I prefer to make my own with vinegar and oil but usually find myself using Gazebo Greek Dressing..
-
Running one on Sunday and then thinking maybe another in the fall if all goes well :)
-
Definitely compression shorts or pants. I can't run in anything baggy and definitely not running shorts. i have been happy with my old Navy pants and Road Runner Sports shorts. I don't need any extra help up top :)
-
I am slower too.. I have a harder time regulating my breathing in the cold.
-
I have been using YouTube to find ones that I like. Try looking for beginner yoga.
-
Right now my favorites are Bigelow Green with Pomegranate or Blueberry

I bit down a a piece of a wooden skid that was in my Panera sandwich. One end was just a big spear..

I would just say move your workouts around that week and take off the day that you know will be the heaviest. I don't think your diet needs to change too much on that day as long as you remain healthy and probably keep up the iron. I think rest would be the most beneficial...

Agreed!

I am signed up for a half marathon May 5.. I have only done one before and that was 10 years ago.
