My son is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts.. both can cause anaphylaxis. We read a lot of labels (amazing that there can be cross contamination in food coloring) and are just really careful. I bake a lot and make a lot of things from scratch using fresh ingredients. Going out to eat is tough and we really don't do it very…

Following.. I am in the midst of a nasty bout of plantar fasciitis that has already had me out for a month.. At the first appointment the doctor wanted to put me in custom orthotics but i declined and got some of their OTC ones to at least put in my dress shoes.. not sure about my sneakers yet. The doctor was not a fan of…

1. How do you feel about your child's school? I have no problems with the school at all.. 2. How do you find out about the activities and decisions of your school?Web site, Facebook site, Teacher e-mails, snow days by phone, text and email. 3. Do you think that the school strives to meet the needs of its students? Is it…

As someone above said, mini muffins are always a hit. For fruits or veggies, I would put them in individual plastic cups so everyone can have their own and there aren't sticky fingers on everything :) Slider sandwiches are also good-I made some with cheese, turkey and ranch that were a huge hit. I also have made mac and…

I use the Fresh 20 and it is only 5 dinners for the week. I think I got a Groupon for $26 for the year. Every Friday I get a packet with my grocery list, recipes and a list of the steps to make it easier to prepare each week. It is really nice..

I have a 7 year old and a 2 year old and work out when they go to bed during the week. I work full time so nap time is not an option. (on the weekends I do go out during the 2 year old's nap time) I found nighttime to be the only consistent time that they are asleep.. I also found it difficult in the mornings because that…

Cats.. They are sneaky little suckers. They will definitely stop me in my tracks.

I wish we did more of that! Now I see why my son has sat by himself sometimes at lunch :(

I rotate between a cheese sandwich, lunchable, crackers with cheese and pepperoni, and then just this week he asked for salad. And then I pack a piece of fruit, some chips, and a cookie. I do try to ask him what he would like but he is less creative than I am. PB&J is out for us because he has a peanut allergy.

Saucony Kinvaras and Brooks PureCadence.

Probably posted here before but i am 5'0 and my goal weight is 115 but I am shooting for 110. I am 118 now. I got to 114 a couple months ago but gained during half marathon training...

You guys rock! 25:53 for my 5K today...a huge PR for me.

I have been toying with this one myself. I do like races however, I am not a huge fan of the training schedule and like to do things on my own. I think I have gotten to the point where running is important to me and I will do it with or without a race. I do it because it is the my time to be by myself and not worry about…

I would run the 10 miler. I don't see how swapping some days around will make too much of a difference for a week.
-
I wouldn't call myself as experienced as others but yes I think you can sub a 2. Just make sure you have a strong training under your belt especially since it sounds like it will be a relatively flat course. I ran a half in May that was a fairly flat course and I subbed a 2 (1:57). This past weekend I ran a very hilly…

Also finished the Freedom Run half.. What a challenging course that was! My time was 2:03:36. Not a PR but I will take it. 24th in my AG.

Third post on this thread has my same name.. Tara.

I am running the Freedom's Run Half in Shepherdstown, WV. They had to reroute the course out of national parkland. Supposedly there are some good sized hills so I am not expecting a PR. I broke 2 hours in May and don't expect it for this one.

I have one on Saturday! I did one in May and plan to do the same one again May 2014.

Grand total for me in September is 137.25! Highest month ever
-
Another shortie.. I am 5'0. I started at 143 a little over a year ago and have been maintaining between 114-117 for the past couple months.
-
116.15 for me... we have our last day of a step challenge for work today so this week I have busted my butt for steps :)
-
Impressive! I think my longest has been 7.. Pushing those strollers is tough work and the run takes a lot longer. I don't think my son would even last that long :)
-
Compression pants also.. I actually like the ones from Old Navy.

I am 5'0... SW: 143 CW: 117.5
