Kat. Von. D. 'Nuff said.

How mentally tough I am becoming.

I have been on topamax for almost 12 years now because of seizures. My doctor told me about a surgical procedure in which would remove old scar tissue from my brain that contributes to my seizures and headaches associated with them. This was a few years ago... not to keen on having my skull open.

There may be a few exercises you can do without putting any weight on your ankle. One that came to mind is arm cycling. I know that probably isn't the correct term, but all you do is sit there and turn the bars the same way you would on a bike, but with your arms. I'd suggest googling some things you can do while you're…

It looks like you're so close to the edge. haha

I'm blown away by the results and I've gotta say... you're lookin' good. Way to go!
-
Oh my GOSH! You did that in all of 7 months? Orrr did you make up the timeline? lol I'm teasing. I'm amazed by what you've accomplished in such a short span. Congratulations!

Better health More attractive looks More opportunities: in today's world, looks matter.
-
I definitely agree with your point on dieting. I would go insane trying to count calories, so I focus more on moderation and consistency. You look fantastic, congratulations.
-
Neither. I have this thing about me that I'd rather do things myself. Instead of a maid of chef, I'd buy a good dishwasher, wash & dry to get more done efficiently.
-
It's not like you look like you just jumped out of bed or haven't showered in ages. You look good in both pics, to me. Just sayin!

I only speak for myself. If there are other guys who agree, great, but meh. If you can look good in something simple without heavy makeup, that says to me: 1. I am comfortable in my own skin. 2. I like how I look and know I look good. 3. You care about your appearance, aren't obsessed about it.

When I was in the 190s years back, I remember feeling fat because I was still a little pudgy and had a small gut. Remembr, we tend to be our most harsh critic. On top of that, we see our own physical flaws in the mirror daily. Are you pleased with your reflection, or do you want to have a more toned physique (if you…

Pretty much everything I ate as I got and remained fat, as often as I did. I still eat pretty much the same thing, just not nearly as much - which is mostly junk food because I didn't eat fast food very often.

Same.

I think you have to ask yourself: - what are my MY motivations for working out? - do these looks matter in the grand scheme of things? - will the results be worth my efforts: and how will I benefit? Okay, enough of the Dr. Phil sermon. lol

Thanks for the responses; I enjoyed reading them. What I've learned is how devted I can be to something I care a great deal about. There aren't many things which I am very passionate about and fitness has become a passion of mine. Once I get to where I want to be, perhaps, I can pay it forward and become a personal…

Face and shoulders. My face has slimmed and shoulders are more broad.
-
If you don't mind me asking, how tall are you? I'm curious because I am 6'2" (6'3" on a good day) and started my weight-loss journey at about 280-285lbs. My goal weight is 200lbs before adding muscle. I'm at 236 right now. Congratulations on your new physique!

Maybe your husband is suffering from low testosterone. The best thing to probably do is talk with him about it and encourage him to see his doctor. Low T can be easily fixed with treatments. There are patches and creams that he can use.

As soon as I committed to joining the gym. Of course, I allow myself an occasional treat, but I don't overdo it like I used to.
-
LOL @ the kicking puppies and stealing candy remark. Anyhow, thanks for sharing. Point I took from this is: it's more about how you carry your weight than how much you weigh.
-
I don't believe many would opt to be an obese person, but I do feel you have the power to change your circumstances if you dedicate yourself. For example a "lazy" person has to change their mentality and how they approach their situation. Stop procrastinating! Someone with a tight schedule can rearrange their schedule to…

I've read and heard that it's easier to lose weight early on in the process. I'm experiencing the same thing and it's frustrating to not see those big numbers showing up, in terms of lbs lost since last weigh-in. You have to change things up to trick your body. Best of luck! BTW, from your before/after pic it's clear…

Congrats! I tried on a few of my old jeans and fit into 3 of the 4 I tried on. It's a great feeling, isn't it?
-
It depends on the person's voice. Some voices are annoying, while others are sexy. Subjective imo.

Sweets Chips Fast foods (Vague answer... I know.)

Before I noticed any physical changes, what I did notice was how baggy my pants were becoming. Very irritating!
-
That is an isane amount of weight lost in such a short time span. Great job! Were you just dieting with Weight Watchers, or were you working out as well?
-
Not sure. On the days I workout, I am a lot more sleepy and fall asleep sooner. On other days I go to sleep later because I'm not sleepy. Generally, I've so much more energy than I did before losing weight.
