I would advise you to go 40 min moderate. This is strictly from personal experience. A lot of times I've seen and even experienced that people tend to go hard for a short period of time, think they've done a lot because , well they've been sweating a lot, give up, and go home. I would advise the longer workout as, not only…

hmm.. a lot of people seem to think the miles on the treadmill are easier. I've actually experienced the opposite. When I'm outside I can run a lot more and feel a lot better as well. Maybe its just me though !

Well you're definitely not eating enough.. but you that already! so on to my story. I was in a similar situation about a week ago. I hadn't lost any weight in like a month or month and half. But of course I was doing the same thing for quite a while and my body got used to it (I think.) I changed it up by starting the 30…

Its funny that you ask this at this, I'm studying this currently in Med school. Iron Deficiency Anemia is due to low Iron in the body due to, in your case it seems, malabsorption of Iron. Now this Anemia typically isn't really characterized with the amount of weight gain that your reporting. 6 pounds? I would get my self…

OK i'm studying medicine and here's an opinion based on what I've learnt till now.. It may be wrong but this is my concept. Your body digests food at rest. Its part of the Parasympathetic system of the body which is basically activated at rest. So if anything, digestion has to occur during rest and quite possible during…

So your body without any exercises and just from day to day activities uses about 2000 - 2400 calories (can be greater or lesser based on your weight). This number is your…

In my experience the MFP database gives a higher calorie burn then does my treadmill or cycle. So all I do is take the number stated on the machine. But it doesn't state it too high just maybe 40 50 cals or so from my hour of calorie burning.
