I'm the same way! The only thing that helps me is....KEEP EVERYTHING YOU BINGE ON OUT OF THE HOUSE!

It depends on how fast you're walking and how steep your incline is. In general the eliptical will burn more calories since you are using more muscles groups. The best thing to do is alternate and keep your body guessing.

I am a fitness instructor. Always let your muscles rest for 24-48 hours. Walking is a great idea.

I am 5"4' and weigh 147. I eat 1500 a day but I work out a lot.

I study nutrition and the things you are eating are awesome! I wouldn't worry about it!

That's not a healthy equation. I weigh 148 and that divided by 2 is 74. Add the 0 and it's 740 calories. The very least you should be eating is 1,200. If you exercise daily it should be closer to 1,600-2,000. Good Luck!

Thanks so much for all the great ideas. I do need to go cold turkey. Allowing myself a little bit is like allowing an alcoholic to have one drink. I can never stop. Wish me luck. It's going to be a rough few days!
