You have to figure out a way to let go of your past. Your health journey needs to be about you.... not your parents or sister. I don't know what would help but here's two things you could try. 1. Write down the negative things that have happened to you. Write down your sadness, rage, rabblings ect. Then have a burning…

I tend to eat more iron and protein rich foods before my period. I don't eat over my calorie goal. I also get pretty lazy for a few days before. I walk my dog but that's about it. As long as you don't go way overboard with your calories I wouldn't worry to much. Even at 1800 calories you're still in a defict.

I need this in my life. Holy yummys!!!!

:D I thought of taking pictures as soon I was in the car on the way home. Lol oops I had spicy grilled salmon over steamed white rice with steamed broccoli and carrots. I snuck a few popcorn shrimp off of my hubbies plate. I also had 3 hush puppies and a side of romane lettuce. Plus a piece of a giant chocolate chip…

I had lost about 15 pounds when a neighbor down the street said to me one moring, "You're looking good." Made my day! :)

I have about 900-1000 calories left for today. And I have reserve/pocket calories. I just went straight to panic mode because I couldn't find any nutritional info. I am a bit addicted to MFP. :D I am going to take my mental chill pill and enjoy that food. Its not like I'm going to spend the rest of my life not eating at…

I love the recipe tool. They only drawback I have found is when making my homemade waffles. Sometimes the same recipe makes 6 and sometimes 5. But with baking, humidity is a big factor. :D

Has anyone had their period change? I cycle weirdly to begin with but its due to having a IUD a few years ago. At my heaviest weight I barely had my period, now I cycle every 32-34 days. This month I don't know what's going on. I have all my regular PMS stuff going on but no period yet. Can iron affect our cyle? Sorry if…

Try to find something else to do besides eating that you can do to relieve your anxiety. Weight loss isn't easy but you haven't failed unless you give up. You are making a lifestyle change. What is your calorie goal? If you are constantly binging you may need to take to a doctor about it.

My goal right now is to get to 199 lbs. I started at 256. My current weight is 209. My ultimate goal is 160 - 165 because I haven't seen myself at that weight. Setting small goals helps me because I feel as sense of achievement every few months. You could always take pictures so that you can see progress. :) I don't think…

My father in law started my weigh loss journey by paying us $2 per pound. We set our goals and a deadline. If we reached or passed our goal he gave us $4 per pound. For him, he earned hours of our time to help him with his business. We had weekly weigh ins. HE lost 11 pounds in a week but just not drinking soda. No…

No, you still need a calorie deficit. MyFitnessPal will help you with that. Exercise is great but exercise cant help you lose weight if youre overeating.

I find beachbody coaches to be very pushy and misinformed about weight loss. They are not trained Nutritionist or Dietitians. Their goal is to sell you a product. I think of them the same way I do of Mary Kay representatives. Nice people but I can get the same kind of product myself at the store for much cheaper. Plus the…

There is a TED talk you can watch on YouTube you can watch called "The mathmatics of weight loss" by Ruben Meerman. He explains what happens to fat in an easy to understand 20 something minute talk. Its quite entertaining.

Mine needs treatment for her addiction to eggs. 187. You stop making excuses. Rain or shine, allergies, lack of motivation. Exercise here I come! 186. You and your body look forward to exercise.

I'm in between sizes 18 and 16 right now. I'm kinda sad though.... I can't wear my two favorite yoga pants while jogging anymore. They slinding down my butt. :'( The silver lining in that is that I must be losing inches for those spandexy pants to be doing that. I lost 15 pounds since starting up again.

:D I had my son 7 years ago and am now working on losing the weight. Eating half gallons of ice cream everyday for two months after he was born was the worst idea I ever had. Lol Op, give yourself time and weight will come off. Weight loss isn't a fast process.

I noticed that my marco goals are of. Under the goals tab it shows to eat 107g of protein but under the nutrition tab it shows 60g.....

I only crave sweets when I get close to my period. My husband says its my early warning signal. :D I found frozen yogurt is a wondeful, some what healthy way for me to squeeze in a treat. Plus I get 4oz at a time which only cost $2 at the most. I have mood swings and feel bloated. I just take a walk and listen to music.

I have a mix radio app on my phone that has workout music by categories. What I like the most about it is that I can take the mixes offline. I don't have wifi outside of my house. :(

^^^ My children's playground has gravel all around it. I walk around the playscape and get a great calf workout. :D plus I get super mommy points for taking them to a playground. My advice is 1. drink plenty water. Its cheap and helps your body do a bunch of great stuff. 2. Don't fall for any diet scams. No special diet…

I doubt my dog would wear one either. :D She has to wear a metal chain collar because she chewed off all the other ones. Plus its kinda funny seeing her poof up in the rain. 200. You mentally roll of your eyes when this happens: " I've been eating good and going to the gym for two hours, 4 times a week but I'm just not…

3. When your dog loses weight from all the walks you been doing. We are doing the 30 day walk challege together. Bonus- you're contemplaing getting your dog a rain coat because it's been raining nearly everyday this month.

You can change your macro levels under the "Goals" tab. Losing a little under a pound per week is awesome. That's nearly 4 pounds a month or near 50 pounds a year! You would be over half way done by this time next year. Weight loss isn't supposed to happen overnight. It's a lifestyle change. It's possible to lose 2 pounds…

First, you can't compare yourself to anyone else when it comes to weight loss. I am the perfect example for this as I am the only person who is overweight in my entire family. So no, you can't expect the same outcome for your mom and you. Second, weight loss is a slow process even for a person without medical issues. Nor…

The best advice I have read so far on MFP is "Remember weight loss is not linear". The scale will go up and down and up again ect.. Also stress really does affect weight loss. Last week I was super stressed out and lost no weight at all. It happends. Eating disorders are serious and need to be professionally dealt with.…

 Every step counts! Lol I drink when I'm thirsty. I drink about 132 oz of water a day. I have a 44oz cup beside me at all times. I don't force myself to drink though.

Few weeks ago, I walked/hiked for 2 hours. Had a date night with hubby and decieded to go to Freddy's. "I think it would be ok to have a mini turtle sundae"......800 something calories Nooooo! :( Totally not worth it.

The amount of added sugar in everything. I don't avoid sugar but I don't understand why one 5 or 6 oz cup of yogurt needs 17 grams of sugar?!?

I know you said you don't like frozen dinners but I would like to recommend Healthy Choice Cafr Steamers. I don't like any other frozen meal options. I love throwing the whole meal on top of salad. Easy and under 450 calories with any of the meals.
