A little research goes a long way here. If possible, I check the menu before I go so that I have an idea of what to avoid. Ramen noodles! Just noodles and flavors, right??? Nope. Each package is TWO servings (wha???) and the really bad ones can run you over 600 calories not to mention as much sodium as a salt lick. Also, P.F. Chang's is evil!!! Each plate they bring out is between 3 and 4 servings at ~400 cals each.

Confused. I was set at 1200 myself and I am doing well, thank you. I'm also having issues meeting this goal too; always seem to be under. I actually thought this seemed low for a daily count based on most plans. Ah well, there's always butter and shortening I guess ;)

I'm a bit over; 5' 1" and I am aiming for 135 or so. Even when I was a varsity cross country runner in high school (weighed less than my new goal, but I'm older and can't commit to running 4 hours a day), I still had a high BMI; always have.
