• We used to use food, then had a daughter born with severe food issues, at 4.5 she ate her first food and only has 5 safe foods to date. Needless to say we starting moving away form food. Now I buy a bunch of inexpensive christmas ornaments and give those out. No calories and last forever!!!!
• Thanks that's a great idea! I would love to hit the treadmill right now,but with kids(run daycare) that wont be happening!! Maybe we could go do our toys for tots shopping, that's always nice. Plus some jerks broke into the local warehouse and stole $100,000+ of toys from toys 4 tots!!!! They need help
• If oyu know that you are going to earn them, add them in through out your day. A bowl of raisin bran is fine after a work out. I usually have a bowl of cheerios and a banana after words. This is what my trainer has told me to do.
• Don't give up, find something that works!!! I have two children and run a home daycare with 10 kids, if I know that it is going to be a long day then I try to get up early and hit the treadmill, I have also learned that it is ok to hand unfed, un-bathed children over to daddy! He has gotten used to it and so have they. I…

• That's good to have someone check!! I made my public on here so that if I complain about no lbs coming off people can call me on my eating!! I do a boot cap 3 days a week also, but it is coming to an end :(
I only have 3 more days left. Next Friday is our last weigh in, measurements and fit test. I'm really…
•
Thank you. I am very proud of myself. I hope it's a true lifestyle change and temporary b/c I'm participating in boot camp and she checks food logs on a weekly basis.
That's good to have someone check!! I made my public on here so that if I complain about no lbs coming off people can call me on my…
• Lauren - I have no idea what size in juniors I am! I swear I am carrying 30 pounds of weight in my stomach alone!!!
LOL!!!! I pretty sure that I have at least that!!! and it won't leave!!!!
• You made to change up the 1200 calories, some people need 1400, at 1200 your body may not be happy. Plus it could just be holding out I do that, at the start I lost inches but the pounds stuck with me, then one week I lost 4 lbs and have been loosing regularly from then on. Learn your body and watch hidden sodium!!!
• That is a great day, you should be so proud, that's when you know you have changed your life way to go
• When I want a cheat day I do it on a day that is a heavy workout day for me. Then I don't go so overboard b/c I am feeling my workout, it's a good reminder. I have a little bit of what I want then I'm not denying but not hurting either
• I am 5'2" and weigh in at 184.0, it's mainly in my hip/tummy area, and my chest :blushing: (which I want to stay!!!! ) I wear a 14, which are now quite loose, hopefully I will be a 12 soon. My goal is a comfy 8
• Yes juniors are sized in odd numbers and a bit more narrow in the hip area:tongue:
• I finally found something that works for me I guess!! I lost 2.6 lbs in the last week :) I have starting eating my exercise calories, guess I needed them!!! Finally I feel like this all has a point!!!!
• Ok, so I didn't get much of a work out in yesterday...had a music program for the kids, but I did go up and down our stairs about 20 times so at least thats something. Today is my 200 sit-ups plus cardio from home, I am hoping ot make 3 miles on the treadmill, I have however been a rock star on my eating. Last night I did…
• That is huge and a hell of a way to start a Friday :drinker: I am going to weighing in my self here in a few:ohwell: I never do good on the scale but my clothes are all getting way loose so...I'll take it!! Congrats.
• I am so proud, we had a nice winter storm here and currently have 9+inches of snow, so my boot camp was cancelled. I did a 545 calories workout on my own rather then slack off!!! I also ate right, there is something about really cold days that makes me want to eat . On top of the snow shoveling I did this morning…
• My trainer tells me that she has NEVER seen any one get fat on veggies!!! And not to worry too much about counting those, as long as you dont dip them of cover them, in other words eat them plain!! So on super hungry days that is what I do, love my veggie sticks
• just tagging for later!
• And what Polliesgirl said about paying more attention to what I'm eating even if it is within the calorie limit. My trainer told me that junk food takes your body 8 times as long to work off as healthy food, I have filled my calories with junk int he past and she told me no more of that, it just cancels out all my work :(…
• You Absolutely not a failure, in fact you should be so proud of yourself! You could be retaining water could be have built up more muscle(which burns more calories in the long run) or just need a change in your routine. Try yoga, I do a Larry Paynes yoga and it helps a lot tends to break up my lulls in workouts. Sometimes…
• You should never eat less then 1200 calories, that is the point at which your body will go into starvation mode and keep everything that you put into it!! Some people need more, some have to eat all exercise calories and some need part of them or not at all!! Weight loose is personal and you have to play with it until it…
• I do the same thing, either the wrong food or no food and one is just as bad as the other. However I have replaced that with my treadmill!! Saturday I had a little spat with hubby and rather than yell or eat I went down stairs did a 12 min mile and felt better!! Didn't eat and calmed down. I know it's hard but remember…
