Absolutely! Basil is really good in juice as well, if you ever juice. I can't wait to be set up to start growing an herb garden! I love grabbing my own homegrown food from the ground and putting right to the plate or the pot!

February 2nd (Candlemas) is the traditional day to take down Christmas decorations. I like that. Advent is not a time for decorations, and traditionally decorations go up Christmas eve. This is a way to better live the liturgical year in my opinion. And that is hard in our society with the pace of everything around us!

Do you make your own? If so, create a recipe in the recipe builder. If you are buying the pizza, you can ask the GM at the pizza joint if they have the calorie value of the crust, sauce and other toppings. What they cannot provide, you can figure with the recipe builder yourself and come up with something.

Drink good beer. Good beer has calories, but itsn't that bad. A couple beers will keep you under 500 calories. Fit it on a day of a hard workout or a day or two after one...

Sounds like a good Lenten practice. I only eat half a serving of chocolate a day, and it is also part of my nutrition. I will be doing some things during that time period, but I do not think it will involve getting rid of chocolate.

And for veggies, when I make beans, I will put 2 onions and a bunch or 2 of garlic in them as well as a bell pepper or some jalapenos. I have about 3 or 4 servings of fruit in my morning smoothies, and I bring about that much fruit to work with me. For instance, in my smoothie today I had about a cup of blueberries and a cup of blackberries. In my lunch I have (had) 4 tangerines. I have 3 left, for about 5 more minutes!

My friends brother makes literally millions of dollars a year off of that stuff... And I used to work for his other brother... I got it for free, but the stuff made my heart beat out of pace.

Well, I drink as an accompaniment to food or a cigar. I like qualit liquor (Islay region single malt usually), quality beer (Guinness or a micro IPA), and good wine with a good meal. If a healthy lifestyle meant getting rid of alcohol, this would be much less palatable to me.

Yeah, I add it. I either make a recipe, or, if it is a premade food or restaurant food I will add it so that everyone can use it.
