  • Warrior dash 3 miles, tough mudder 10-12 miles.
  • I really like the lowfat frozen yogurt. My local store, Meijer, has it in it's own brand in several flavors. It costs about the same as regular ice cream. Last week I bought no fat ice cream in the same store brand and I like it. My only complaint is that it seems to be frozen harder making it difficult to scoop. The no…
  • Usually 1 per serving depending on brand. Only until you rinse them and it's not that strong. I bet less laboratory stuff than most frozen meals. 3 ingredients- soluble fiber from the root of a plant, water and a calcium additive. I think of them as filler or a food delivery vehicle. Sure I could just eat my meat and…
  • They come in several shapes, rice, spaghetti, fettuccine, tube. Some with no calories, some with low calories. The low calorie ones usually contain tofu which is supposed to give them more pasta like texture. They are mostly nutritionally empty except for fiber. Do not cook and eat them like you would normal pasta you will…
  • EVERYBODY, wants to lose weight fast that's why there are so many crash diets out there. NONE of them work for more than temporary results. Was it 5 lbs or 10 lbs? That's a pretty big span for weight loss in a week. Seriously? Something chemically? It doesn't say what kind of hot dog, what type of cheese. Nothing in this…
  • How big are these? I've been buying the store bought low carbs ones that are 72-80 calories each but they are good size at 8"s.
  • The best gym is the one that you use. If the Y has stuff that makes it worth the extra money go to the Y. Most of the Y's by me have a pool and racquetball courts and a lot of other stuff. There are no PF's by me. When you say freeweights up to 60lbs do you mean dumb bells? This isn't much. At some point you may want to go…
  • Those that mind don't matter, those that matter don't mind. Just do it.
  • I have tried a bunch of different bluetooth ones. The Jabra SPORT Bluetooth Stereo Headset has been by far my favorite. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005FVNHBI/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00 I use them with my phone so I wanted bluetooth.
  • Lowfat frozen yogurt on no fat ice cream are my go to treats.
  • I don't have anything else to suggest but if your doing p90x this doesn't appear to be the same level of intensity. Why not write down the p90x exercises and do them without the dvd? You could also buy a portable dvd player under $50.…
  • Oriental chicken salad at Applebees, 1310 calories.
  • Awesome NSV, I love Rugby. We don't see much of that here in the states. NRL is my favorite and the Roosters are my team.
  • A bigger calorie deficit is not usually better. You may lose a lot initially but you are on a pace that is not sustainable. You will crash and end up gaining that weight back. Do some research. It's better to lose at a slow and steady pace. You shouldn't be on a diet that leaves you hungry.
  • I was already down 15lbs in the first pic from my top weight but I had a beard before and it's tough to see my face. In the second pic I am down 33lbs, so an 18lb diff from the first pic to the second.
  • Don't limit yourself to just "breakfast" food for breakfast. I have a protein drink or greek yogurt most days. That usually gets me to an early lunch.
  • Yes all beverages with the exception of some alcohol have water in them and count towards your water intake. Most foods contain water with some having very high water content. If you really wanted water you could get it. If your buying pop you could buy bottled water. Just saying...
  • Looking good, great progress!
  • Is spring water better than distilled water or should I be drinking condensed water?
  • Now your just trolling.
  • Weight loss is 100% diet. calories in < calories out = weight loss Exercise does influence the calories out part of the equation but it's still 100% diet. However what you look like and what physical shape you'll be in when you lose the weight is determined by exercise.
  • This thread contains more misinformation than most MFP threads. Why do people continue to post that milk is not water and cling to the drink 8 cups of plain water a day myth? Milk is not water but it contains water. I think there should be a requirement to read every post before posting a reply. All beverages with the…
  • Jerk friend is going to say the same thing, she isn't really lifting "heavy" because she can't squat 400 lbs. There is almost no way to win an argument with an idiot. You could say you have a protein deficiency and you need to track food for health purposes. Totally true, most people back off when you get all medical on…
  • The three you listed are kind of like advanced pedometers. They are designed to be worn all the time. They will track your movement and give calorie burn estimates based on that movement but not on how strenuous that movement is. There are different models of the 3 you listed. Some will track your sleep, some are smart…
  • Milk is 85-90% water. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_percentage_of_milk_is_water You can get "water" in many different ways. Edit: The 8 glasses of water recommendation is an arbitrary number. It does not take into account water you get from food. The climate where you live. The energy that you expend daily. To much water…
  • Don't go to minimalist shoes cold turkey. You will run differently and you need to ease into it. http://naturallyengineered.com/blog/couch-to-barefoot/ This is one of my favorite books. It's not specifically about barefoot running but it makes a case for it.…
  • I weigh everyday. This works for some it doesn't work for others. You need to do what works for you. Some people will advise you to throw out the scale. Measure progress by measurements, pictures, and how your clothes fit. That doesn't work for me. The scale isn't the only number. Body fat is probably a better indicator…
  • There is a lot of water in food, not just beverages like coffee, pop, and milk but water in food. Do some research on water, the 8 glass a day thing is a myth.
