  • "Just hydrate, stretch, and buy this stuff!" Hah! If life were that easy it wouldn't have taken me THREE YEARS to lose THIRTY POUNDS. (and keep it off)
  • Make sure you weigh in the same spot, at the same time of the day. I noticed my scale reads differently on hardwood, tile, and bathmat. So just make sure you're being consistent and your scale is being consistent. And only weigh once a week or so if you can. Weight naturally fluctuates. I can go anywhere from 3-5lb…
  • I'd get LOST with Sawyer any day...
  • 5'5 Weight (Size) HW: 177 (13) LW: 130 (8) CW: 150 (10) GW: 138 (dream goal weight: 125) I have a curvy frame. Big hips and tatas. I would LOVE to be super skinny again, but thanks to puberty I don't think 110lb will ever look good on me again. I personally think you are at a fantastic weight and you look great!
  • Miller 64 if you want beer, or a coors light (102 cals), or liquor and a clear liquid. I prefer Stoli Blueberry vodka, water, and lime. Refreshing and it just tastes like blueberry water. ;) I try and stay away from the "diet" drinks because that artificial stuff isn't good for you and I always feel crappy in the morning.…
  • Yes. You. Are! But most importantly, how others see you should never matter, it's how YOU feel. Are you proud enough with your amazing weightloss to rock that bikini? You should be.
  • 51 pounds is HUGE. You have lost a toddler in weight. It came from somewhere, so even if YOU can't see the difference I bet other people can. And think about how healthy you are getting. Keep doing what you're doing!
  • I'm all for boots with dresses! But you have to make sure you balance it out on the top. Either match more with all the pieces (I do a lot of black on black), or match your accessories to your boots. You need a belt or a jacket. But you look cute and comfy. :)
  • Wear whatever you're comfortable in and don't care what other people think. I, personally, wish I had MORE workout attire, but nice workout clothes are pretty expensive.
  • I'm a busty girl as well. Went from a 36GG to a 34F thanks to weightloss, but they're still huge (and saggy). Always fit the largest part of you, the rest can be tailored or belted. I think you have a great frame. Don't get discouraged if you have to try on 100 things to find 1 great one. You'll know you'll have that…
  • WHAT IS THIS FROM!? DEAR GOD!
  • I'm always up for support! My family constantly made fun of me and put me down when I started making lifestyle changes. But after years of experimenting I've figured out how to buy good food and prepare it. I can give you a TON of meal ideas if you need them.
  • Thanksgiving. Not much has changed, my hair is just a few inches longer.
  • Disgusting. I'm not actually sure how you could consume that (or why you'd want to), unless you ate an entire heap of double deep fried fast food or something. Your poor insides...
  • I don't know how everyone does it. For the most party I'm pretty healthy. I don't eat fast food and haven't for a long time. If I DO splurge on eating out I usually pick the healthiest option, or I shoot for "free range" or "organic" if I need to really stretch it and not feel TOO guilty about a huge slice of pizza or…
  • 1. cow milk 2. sugary juices 3. kettle chips...because I had to stop kidding myself, they are still chips. 4. ice cream (only on special occasions every couple of months) 5. pasta [I want to clarify, I cut these out but I don't actually miss them very often. The health benefits far outweigh the desire to consume these…
  • I was actually talking to my personal trainer a few days ago about this (because I wanted to know how to better hydrate). She said that some people can really hurt themselves with too much potassium, so be very careful if you choose to take supplements. I googled necessary potassium and it was a fraction of what MFP says…
  • Typically I try and eat back half of my worked off calories. I pretend it's an extra deserved "snack" on the days that I workout. MFP has already calculated in calories necessary for weightloss in your every day life. Burning off a big chunk of your standard consumption doesn't leave your body with much to fuel itself for…
  • Breakfast is typically: 1 egg, 1 egg white Sauteed veggies in EVOO (usually onion, spinach, zuccini, sweet potato, kale [occationally], mushrooms) A slice of wheat toast with lite butter, apple butter, or lite cream cheese Sometimes a slice of bacon or veggie breakfast "sausage" Cup of coffee with natural vanilla creamer…
  • I haven't tried it, but I do question it. If I wanted to replace a meal with liquid nutrients I would just create my own shake or smoothie. You could throw in whatever you wanted and get just as many calories and nutrients, and you know it's fresh, raw, REAL food. But that's just my take on it. At the very least I hope it…
  • My recent suggestion from a personal trainer was upping my calories. It FREAKS me out, but I'm going to give it a try. He said I may have just slowed down my metabolism and it needs a reboot. (new calorie intake, new foods, new workouts) Have you also been checked for any thyroid issues? That, combined with your age, could…
  • In the long run I would say yes. It's very hard to consume enough nutrients with that little amount of food. You would need to live on raw vegetables, raw fruits, and lean meats and probably still would be deficient somewhere in your diet. :/
  • Care less, you're hotter now than most of the popular girls. Live a little more. Stop being so scared of everything. Set some goals for yourself, you're just whirling around doing nothing.
  • I would also suggest trying another variety if you ever get a chance. The kind I get has very intricately ribbed leaves and isn't very thick. It worked perfectly for the chips. I actually overcooked the first batch because they got crispy much faster than I expected.
  • I've made some trying various seasonings. Teriyaki/soy sauce (amino acids are a healthier alternative), granulated garlic, cumin. SO GOOD and so many options! I do suggest eating them right away, though. I made a huge batch but it didn't keep well, even a few hours later. They just got soft a tough.
  • After being stuck at the same weight for nearly a year I gave in, joined a gym and it has COMPLETELY kickstarted a new me. I'm not saying you have to go out and do that, because I know it's expensive. (I lucked out and was able to join a friends family plan) But switch something up. Obviously what you're doing isn't…
  • Love love love love. Give me some Good N' Plenty!
  • My boyfriend and I have just recently made the choice to cut out a lot of dairy. We lived on milk, cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, etc. It's all good, in moderation. But basically I wanted to cut out the fat, and the natural hormones and things that are in milk. Someone recently made me realize milk is something you…
  • That's what I do. Pick your liquid, pick your protein, and if you want pick a fruit and/or veggie to add. My shake today was almond milk, a scoop of chocolate whey, 1/2 a scoop of vanilla whey, Tbsp of almond butter (like peanut butter), cinnamon and a little water. Tastes like dessert. And it's also really good with…
