Don't obsess with weighing yourself. If you weigh everyday, you will see your weight going up and down even if you know in truth you are losing weight. Once every two weeks or month is good. That would give you something true to celebrate.

I got tired of getting off the train in NYC and walking up just one single flight of steps and my heart beating as if I had just run a marathon. It was unhealthy weight and so glad I made the choice to do better for me.

losing lbs a week is healthy weigh tloss. 22 X 3 = 66 lbs. So 40 lbs in 22 weeks is not bad actually. It is doable. I lost 80lbs in 9 months which is 36 weeks while on a 1200 calorie per day diet.

I think I need to read the book first before I watch it because adaptations into film usually change things up a bit, with the book being better most of the time. But sound like it will be a great movie from what I've heard people say about the book.

Maybe too much of it. Try somethign else. Too much of anythign is too much. If you are having two eggs a day, every day, maybe decrease it to every three days and have something else in between.

When I was 228lbs back in August 2012, my nutritionist told me to stick to a 1200 calorie diet in order to lose about two lbs a week, even with exercise. Who knew that there was truth to it? So ,much truth that I became so obsessed with trying to stay under that, that I actually lost so much weight and started looking…

When I first started working out and dieting, last August 2012, I consulted a nutritionist who told me about this site and when I decided to join it, I realized she was right; it really was one of the moist helpful tools in assisting me to lose the majority of my weight. Who knew back then when I was 228lbs that I would…

I log them but in the recipes. It is weird how I became so obsessed wit this site at one point that I was actually creating a recipe for everything I cooked or put in my mouth which included the spices and every single ingredient. I got to the point that I was really trying to stick to under 1200 calories and then was not…

Don't give up. Keep moving forward and do not stop. I was told by a trainer today that since the last leg is usually the hardest, you have to get even deeper into the discipline and should not stray from it. It can be tough because once we lose it and are happy with what we see, we get comfortable like I did. But you know…

I dieted and exercised. Disciplined and stuck to it. That's what works. Forget the naysayers and those who say you can't. Don't worry about those who say they will workout with you and then cancel. If it is your goal, it is your goal alone so get with it and stick with it.

The body needs food for nourishment and that's the basic point. You've accomplished the knowing of it because you can maintain it. Congratulations. As for me, I try to keep it at 1200 or below but the human factor kicks in every now and then and I go overboard. The body does not need an excessive amount of food to bef…

Exercise is one part of it but did you know that cardio helps you lose inches not weight. Combined with dieting though, it works wonders. What is your caloric intake per day? Perhaps you can lessen it because nothing good comes without sacrifice. This is coming from someone who loves and knows how to eat and never gets…
