  • That must have felt great. Congrats to you. I'm sure that feeling will last a while and keep using it as your motivation and be careful not to become satisfied by it. That happened to me before when I started feeling a bit too good about my progress and then I got lazy with workouts and logging foods. I know that won't…
  • Thanks for sharing your story with us. Lots of good info in there that we can all use (I know I can for sure). Congrats on your success and stay strong!
  • Incredible! They should put you in their ads. Nice work!
  • Wow, what a difference! You look great! Congrats on your accomplishment and good luck getting those last 6lbs gone to reach your goal. Amazing what you did in 6 months.
  • If you're short on time and don't have chicken or pork already prepared you can just open a can of tuna. Nothing exciting or even tasty but I did it yesterday for the same reason you are asking and it only set me back 100 calories and I got 20 grams of protein. I eat it plain right out of the can.
  • Congrats! What a great way to start a week!
  • You look great! Even with the coat it's obvious that you've completely transformed your body. Congrats.
  • What a difference! Your hard work has definitely paid off. Good luck with those last 10lbs you're going after.
  • I DO realize that Subway is NOT health food but I do think from a nutritional standpoint it can be a better option than fast food burgers or chicken because of the vegetables on the sandwich. I also realize that cookies are NOT a health food at Subway, but what I did NOT know was that they were 190 calories for 1 cookie.…
  • Thanks to all of you and your helpful suggestions and words of encouragement! Much can be learned from the message boards and from listening to others who have already dealt with the same issues that we may be dealing with. I think that logging food before going out sounds like a good idea. However, in today's case, I…
  • Your smile shows how you feel. You look like you've lost more than 35lbs. I think 35lbs in a year is a great accomplishment! Good luck in your next 12 months......hope you hit whatever your goal is! You can do it.
  • Obviously we are not the only ones dealing with not being consistent. I have over the past 20 years logged food and exercise off and on and every time I look back at the journals I kick myself because when I did consistently journal I lost weight and made progress. Whenever there was a big gap in logging the weight I…
  • Scary how seeing yourself in a picture can be an eye opener. I can relate. I saw a picture of myself at the beach with my boys with no shirt on and am embarrassed to look at it again. I'd say to use that picture of yourself as motivation. I joined a few days ago and after reading many success stories feel that this is an…
  • YOU ROCK! What an inspirational post for all of us! I just know you will be posting another pic when you are at the weight you feel is right and you look great. Hope your dad is OK and that he recovers soon.
  • Well put. You are almost there! Congrats on your success and good luck for those last 2 to go.
  • You don't even look like the same couple. I'm sure you feel years younger but both of you look 10-15 years younger too. Thanks for inspiring the rest of us.
  • Wow, that is impressive! As I scrolled down from your July '11 pic to the July '12 I was impressed but when I saw how much more progress you made from July '12 to Sept '12 I was stunned....incredible. You look awesome and from all the posts you received it's obvious you're inspiring many who want to get where you are now.
  • Congrats Kim! Sure helps to have some friends around when you need them. Keep up the good work and best of luck on trying to beat your new best time!
