  • Welcome back. I just completed my first week. I lost 122 pounds on WW last year, but gained every bit of it back. I lost almost seven pounds last week and I'm sticking with it. Feel free to add me if you wish. I couldn't do this without support and there's plenty of it here. :-)
  • Hi there and welcome. This is my first week here, but I lost and regained 122 pounds on Weight Watchers last year. I'm starting from scratch and I have a lot to lose, so I know how you feel. The best advice I can give you is to log everything you eat, drink a ton of water, don't beat yourself up if you have an off day, and…
  • @Mickee1969: That "B.L.T." stuff in Weight Watchers triggered my OCD, big time. (For those who don't know, that stands for "bites, licks, tastes.") The obsession over every single morsel was part of what made me quit the plan. I lost 122 pounds, so I was obviously doing something right, but I just couldn't continue at that…
  • Welcome, Jonny. We're in the same boat, with a lot of weight to lose and good reasons for doing it. I've only been active here for a week, but I lost (and regained) 122 pounds last year with Weight Watchers, so I've definitely been around the block a few times. The main thing I learned when I gained it all back was to try…

  • I deal with the same issue. Drinking a ton of water helps me more than anything. I can always tell if I need to increase my water intake (even by one or two glasses) if my feet are a little more swollen than usual.
  • A two-egg onion and cheese omelet, a piece of toast with jelly, and two pieces of turkey bacon. 418 calories of deliciousness. I never, ever skip breakfast. You have to get your metabolism going in the morning to maximize weight loss.
  • I've noticed the same thing. If a calorie count isn't clear and obviously correct, I double check it on a site like caloriecount.com or or nutritionfacts.org. While I don't think I should necessarily *have* to do this, I just remind myself that this site is free and it's a work in progress! I understand the frustration…
  • @aroundthemulberrybush: I had a lot more to lose, so 120 was a relative drop in the bucket. I lost that weight under my doctor's care and supervision as well. Thanks for your advice.
