@shopewell70 I do not have an exact alternate pattern. I do have a Garmin watch and I look at it to see where my pace is I look at it as well as how I feel.

I love my fitbit I have the surge I do not know of anyone that has one that does not like having it regardless of model. Flex has no clock or way to see steps without syncing to your phone though

I started out walking. Gradually started jogging some and really only run in races. Consistency is your key. Good Luck on your Journey

Most every day helps me finish the day. I mix it up Bourbon, Vodka, Rum, Gin, Tequila, Scotch and occasionally beer but it makes me feel bloated so usually stick with the booze.
