I'm a cautionary tale. I also lost about 100 pounds in 2002 to about a size 8. I kept it off for several years, through a move across country, a breakup, my mom dying etc. But then I got 'tired' and started eating whatever when I got into a new relationship. 20 turned into 40 turned into 50. Then I had a very stressful…

Have you had your gallbladder out? I have that same issue, but it's because I had my gallbladder out. But go to a gen practitioner, they will refer you to a GI Specialist, it sounds like you may have diverticulitis, colitis or IBS. Also, do you drink heavily? That can also cause frequent bowel movements. Sorry you're…

I need to lose 146 pounds. I'm planning on losing 80 this year (started 12/27) and then losing the rest. Basically I would like to be around my goal by 2016 when I turn 40.

I don't think so, it will slow down as you get closer to your goal. However, if I could get to two hours a day of a workout, I'd be set! That's awesome!

That is truly inspiring! Thank you for sharing your story!

Your story made me cry, because I identify with so much of it. I am 37, and I want to get to the 170's. I would like to spend my prime years being someone who really is vibrant and healthy. Thank you for writing this, and congratulations!

I'm noticing it does matter for me. I've been high sodium for 3 days (pre-packaged deli meats, etc too) and I've 'gained back' 8 lbs. I don't think I have actually gained that back, it's water weight from going high on sodium and not getting enough water. So now I will drink way over my water and lower my sodium and hope…

I thought about it when I lost weight last time. My boobs disappear when I lose weight and I have a rather large bundunka dunk no matter how small I get. So boobs help balance out the equation. I think women are objectified as a rule, and if a woman wants to get surgery in any way people shouldn't judge her. We're a…

If you're a vegetarian you'll have lots of choices here! Sat Market opens back up in March and it's a fun time. I don't make it down there as often as I should, probably. I don't know how to embed a picture, and I have a perfect one for you! I danced yesterday, and today I will power 90 weights.

This is so good I'm bookmarking it so I can read it if I'm feeling frustrated! So wonderful!!!!

Me too! I lost almost 100 pounds, kept it off for four years and then my Mom died (gained a little), I got into a new relationship (gained about 25), relationship broke up after 3 years (gained a little) and so on until now I gained it all back plus 40 pounds. I'm working on gaining back my great eating and exercise…

Hey guys! I just figured out how to get back to this thread, because I'm a genius! EML, you and I sound like the same person! Yes, I totally get it. I would kill to be able to afford an in-home trainer but alas, I will have make do with tae bo DVDs, Power 90 and Hip Hop abs, walking and dancing to Pandora to 1990's hip…

Thanks! This is awesome! I'm also one who is evenly proportioned, but I can't imagine being a size 6! Great job! :)

Thanks Ms Leak! Looks like we are born the same year. (if 76 means that) 11 stone sounds like a dream to me, but I feel you. :)

Because when you switch from high calorie foods (like a average burrito has 1200 calories in it) to low calorie foods (salads, fruit for snacks etc) It CAN be hard to get 1300 calories in. If you exercise too, it's hard. That being said try to hit your calorie goal. Women shouldn't eat under 1200 calories for several…

Awesome job! You look great! I too need to lose over 100 pounds, you're an inspiration.

Hi! I'm Belinda and I'm 37. I'm way way overweight, and need to lose about 146 pounds. (But I carry it well?) I lost down to 170 in 2004, and through adopting my old eating habits and generally a downhill slope have gained it back and then some. I really want to do this as I don't want health problems, knee issues etc.…
