I am 5" 0" and am currently at 180.5. I keep changing my mind on my goal weight just because I have never been at a low weight in my adult life. I am aiming for 130 since I am 52 and not really sure what 130 will look on me.

I share mine with friends and have had nothing but positive feedback. I like looking at friends diary's too get new ideas for other foods to eat.

Great job! You look fantastic! All that hard work really pays off!

I started yesterday too and was so happy to make it through the full 20 minutes. I have the most problem with the bicycle move and the jumping jacks. Jumping jack are not something I am comfortable with still as I had a herniated disk in my back a couple of years ago and had to have surgery. I am doing mostly heel jacks…

Yeah, onederland!! This is such an awesome feeling when that scale goes below 200. Congratulations.

Here is my short person before and after. I am 5' 0" and have lost 141 lbs. I still have another 60 to go but I am going to it!

I also had that problem of consistency every other time I have tried to loose weight. This time I found an exercise I love (swimming) so I am not getting bored with that part of this lifestyle change. Also, when I got to the point I have had I the most trouble I the past (200 lbs) I did something completely different ... I…

Thank you so much marvybells. I just used your friend code to order my first box.

Actually for me this time loosing the weight has been easier as I am so much more constant with what I eat thanks to MFP. Also I am not driving myself crazy with how fast the weight comes off as long as it comes off steadily. It is hard work, don't get me work, but no matter what age it can be done! You are welcome to…

I too tried to set my goals at a two pound a week weight loss and found the calorie count was just too low, especially since I am on my feet eight hours a day at work. I revised that to a 1 pound a week loss which set my goal at 1520. With that being said I usually try to aim for between 1250 and1350 a day and rarely ever…

Thanks everyone for the responses. I still may get one as I am expanding my exercising to more than swimming. I appreciate all the help.
-
Congratulations!! It's is a great feeling to break that barrier and I definitely know what a major achievement that is.

Feel free to add me. I am over 50 and have a very demanding job where I am on my feet 8 hours or more a day. I hurt so much I had to do something and a year ago found MFP. I just recently started posting and looking for friends to get support and support in return. This has been a hard journey and it is not over so I would…

Congratulations on your weight loss. I can definitely relate to everything you said and remember being their as well. I can also relate to where you are now and how good it feels to be at this point. Keep it up.

When I first started this a year ago I dreaded exercising, but then I joined a gym and re-discovered my love of swimming. That was a cardio exercise I could do even after 8 hours on my feet at work and something I could look forward to doing. It has made all the difference. On a day I would have been too tired and just…

Thanks for all the support. It really helps to keep going. I only recently started posting and it helps a lot getting feedback for what I am doing and what I have achieved.

Going back to try again.

I lost weight a couple of years ago and gained it all back. I still had the clothes I bought when I lost that weight so getting back into those clothes was a big motivation for me. In addition I have been using MFP for a year now and the daily logging keeps me on track like nothing else I have ever done before. I do have a…

I think for me the exercise motivation started when I found something I really love to do (swimming). I found I was looking forward to going to the gym because while it was a workout it was also a wonderful way to just de-stress from a long day at work. Recently I added circuit training, using the elliptical and riding the…

You can add me too. I have just recently started posting but I do everyday. I also do not eat clean all the time and have still managed to loose 135lbs in the last year. I love a good piece of pizza and am not afraid to eat one now and then!
-
Would love to be friends too. I understand about going up and down too and would love to support what you are doing. I am at a place where I am finally reaching out to people so I don't lose focus like I have so many times before.

I am guilty of eating the lean cuisines too. Working a full day I just don't want to cook when I get home. Recently I have been making a roast chicken on an off day and using that for several dinners. Also I do use breakfast sandwhichs but on off days I make my own omelet. Also now that fall is here apples are my new…

You can add me. I log in daily and have gotten to the point that I want to reach out to others and be supportive and get support in return. I am in this for the long haul and been using MFP for a year now. I still want to loose another 50lbs and would love to add some new friends.
-
I did my first minute tonight! And I did three sets of them. Have been doing mostly swimming up till now and I have started to add core training.
-
You can add me. I still have about 60lbs to loose so I would love some support too.
-
I have been using mfp for about a year now and have lost 132lbs. I have not posted before but am now looking for some people to connect with also to keep the momentum going. I still want to loose another 65lbs and have never been able to do this before. I am definitely looking to connect with people who are committed to…

I know you can do this. I am on a budget too and have lost 131 lbs in the last year with the help of MyFitnessPal. Looking for sales, cutting coupons and taking my lunch to work are just some of the things I have done to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
