Congratulations, and thanks for sharing! You have inspired me!!!

Well done!! You are doing great, and you already look so much better -- and healthier.

Congratulations! What a wonderful complement. I think you are doing great -- 33 lbs is impressive!

I find that green tea really helps a lot. I will make a cup just when I start feeling a little hungry.

My local Trader Joe's is priced less on everything and they only sell organic. If you are close to a Trader Joe's, shop there. Higher quality food cheaper than the grocery store. :) And it tastes better,

Way to go!!! You've done well!!

You look wonderful!! Congratulations!

I think your body is craving a healthier diet. 1/4 a muffin in the morning...you need some protein, for one thing. I also don't see much fiber -- you may be a little constipated. I noticed a Bog Mac in there. Big Macs are notoriously high in sodium, as are many of the other items in your diary. My guess is that your weight…

I'm almost 5'9"...and the goal weight my doctor set for me is 130...because that is what I was most of m life, and I felt great, and didn't look anorexic...I think your friend is jealous. Just pleasantly ignore her. :)

I agree with this. I don't drink soda anymore, I prefer water...but with the amount you are drinking, and all the water, I don't see how it could hurt. :)

Just how freaking GREAT healthy food tastes...I don't even want a Big Mac now...give me my favorite baked veggies and tofu, please! How nice people are to me now that I am slimmer vs. when I was heavier...sad but true...

You look GREAT! Well done! And thanks for posting...this is great motivation to stick with it!!

This is EXCELLENT advice. I am not that far from goal and eating clean and walking helped me lose a good 2 lbs this past week. It *should not^ make a difference what you eat, but I find that it does...it's like my body functions better with a higher grade fuel?? Good luck to you!!!

Me, too. And that works for me. :)

A Humane Society special -- a brown tabby named Mister. I had her for a little over 17 years and loved her very much. :)

Animals are silly, just like people. My beagle like to eat the results of digestion. I wouldn't let kitty eat it, though, my vet says no people food whatsoever. Cute kitty. :)

Good progress! Keep up the good work!

You have definitely provided inspiration -- thanks for sharing.

Well done!!! Congratulations!

I agree with that...at that pace, you would be walking 6.8 MPH...I have long legs and keep up a pretty good clip, and I never get above 3.5 MPH. :)

I need to lose weight, but I am tall, so it doesn't look like as much as it really is, and my co-workers need to lose approx. 3 to 4 times what I do -- hence their perspective. I tell them the absolute truth. When they say, "you don't need to lose any more weight" I reply, "well, my doctor says I do...and she went to…

I agree with this!! You look great, just keep on doing what you have been doing!!

Me, too! Especially if they are quick and easy. :)

I like to add diced onions and tomatoes to cottage cheese...quite delicious. :)

It happens to the best of us. Just get started again, immediately. Don't overcompensate by eating less, or anything like that. Just pick up where you left off. All is well. :)

Another thought on the topic: show your diary to your doctor or a nutritionist and ask what he/she thinks you could do better. If you want to lose weight, I can actually understand that. I am 5'9" and my goal weight is 132...and is heavily supported by my doctor...so 5" taller than the OP, but the same weight she is now. I…

Well done! You look GREAT!!!

Tofu is one of man's greatest inventions. I love the taste (in recipes), the consistency, and it is so nutritious!!

How many milligrams are you over on an average day? I was forced to watch my sodium intake when I got high blood pressure. Now it is second nature, and most days (except today, of course) I am at around 1500 total. It helps if you don't eat out. Restaurants add salt to EVERYTHING. And eat the low sodium version of anything…

I track my protein in MFP, and exceed the minimum requirement most days. I *love* soy milk, and I love beans and rice combinations, especially hummus on rice cakes (which, as I'm sure you know, is a complete protein). I occasionally get some from nuts and lentil soup...hope this all helps. Lately I have been baking extra…
