I used to have over 8,000 in my inbox, then I decided I was just going to clean up the crap. Not delete, but stick everything in folders. Organize a couple hundred each day and you'd be surprised how fast you get 'em outta there. I'm down right now to 3-10 in the home inbox before I file them away.

What worked for me is immersing ALL your breads/grains with whole wheat. Whole wheat breads, pastas, bagels, flour (for baking), etc etc.

Missing my New Years Resolution of not running a half marathon in 2012. But there's still time to get to the second half of that resolution: full marathon in 2013!

Lately two of my favorites: Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day. It doesn't matter how slow you go, because you're still lapping everyone sitting on the couch.

Ditto...they've slowly gotten enormous and it doesn't take a whole lot of looking to find a 700 (or more!) calorie muffin. And Pop-Tarts. Just ONE is 220 cals (and who doesn't eat both in the wrapper?)

When I grill, I use a George Foreman Grill, and I make sure to look up the George Foreman version of whatever meat I'm cooking. Hope this helps!!

Personally I've just gone with a 93/7 and not worried about it.

Yogurt has never been a stay-away for me...I just make sure I buy the fat free kind. Yoplait and Dannon both have a decent amount of flavors and they're all in the 80-110 cal range.

For breakfast: McDonalds Egg McMuffin and unsweetened iced tea: 305 cal FYI, they load of on sodium in pretty much any fast food place, so you'll have to watch for that in your macros.

Green peppers Carrots Onions Spinach Apples (I could go on for quite awhile, but whatever produce is in season) 100-calorie ANYTHING Milk Yoplait light yogurt Light sour cream Oats (makes for a very easy, healthy AND CHEAP breakfast) Chicken breasts (buy them fresh, use what you can, then freeze 'em because they last for a…

I try to do it every day, first thing in the morning. I may not make it every day, but I always do it the same time.

I've tried blogspot, but ultimately settled on wordpress. I think it's much more user-friendly, and it gives so much more scope as an administrator. Blogspot just seems too cookie-cutter.

I thought the same thing! That, plus counting calories makes you realize how much you were truly eating.

Gonna agree with the majority here. Yeah, it's not the best thing for you, but there are PLENTY worse addictions to have. I have myself on a 5 cans a week since I started my diet (down from 1-2/day). The aspartame may make you more hungry, but that's what something like a fiber supplement and lean proteins are for.
