Pretty sure the reason most of these posts come up (and I've notice they pop of frequently) is because people see their MFP's talking about their SO's and kids, while still in their mid 20s. Yet as soon as a thread like this one hits the forums, all the never married, no kids people come out of the woodwork. Speaking as…

5'10" (178 cm), just under 200 lbs, and typically I'm between 600-700 in the month 1 workouts and 700-800 in the month 2 workouts. Their claims that you can burn up to 1000 is pretty much by going absolute maximum effort for the entirety of the workout, which you probably know is almost impossible even for the crew in the…

Thanks for the advice everyone!

THIS And I yesterday I just listened to Airbourne's new single "Live It Up" seven times in a row when I was 5k training.

I take Vitafusion Fiber Gummies, usually 8 or so a day (although I'm not the best at logging all of them), so there's 20 g right there, and from other food throughout the day I'm over 30 g/day on a consistent basis. When people why so much, I say I'm "pooping myself thin."

Moral of the story: stop a snowball before it becomes an avalanche. Thanks for posting!

I think half my playlist is songs from their Runnin' Wild or No Guts. No Glory. albums. Can't wait for their new one to drop in May (http://www.stereoboard.com/content/view/177224/9)

Now time for a break in the chain...all the ones I'm seeing are from the same general pop-ish genre. For me (hard rock and classic rock fan), here's the highlights of my workout mix: Airbourne - Overdrive Airbourne - Runnin' Wild AC/DC - Flick of the Switch AC/DC - Thunderstruck Theory of a Deadman - So Happy Judas Priest…

I've never seen a problem with weighing myself everyday, because it's always under the same conditions: first thing in the morning, after going to the bathroom, before eating/drinking anything.
-
I always lean on the side of less activity, because it feels good to log the exercise that I do do.

I'm more of a Fiber Gummie person. 2 of em is 5 g of fiber, and they actually taste like gummy bears (or worms if that's your preference)

As your weight goes down, so do you BMR and TDEE, so the maintenance (and thus daily target calories) number for your daily caloric intake are going to go down.

I want in too! 30 lbs is about how much I am now from my GW. Feel free to add me, I'm always good for encouragement!

Same story different verse for me. I wanted to run my first half this past September, but backed out using the excuse "I wasn't going to get the time I wanted," knowing full well I could actually finish and be proud of just completing the race. It was my new year's resolution is run a half in 2012 and a full in 2013. And…

Same story here. My favorite apple orchard that I used you go to every year as a kid (and now this year would have taken my gf just the two of us) had pretty much bupkis for apples this year. Absolutely NO pick-you-owns, which is most of the fun anyway! Total bummer :-\

Under Armour (or equivalent) everything. I can get through a run with two layers on top and bottom: skintight winter gear, and sweatpants/hoodie.
