I've only lost 6 lbs so far, and one person already noticed, but I'm thinking the main reason she noticed is because she knows I've been running more.
-
Definitely in! I'm not running for anything in particular, but it would be great to have a group like this for motivation!

I've recently started shopping there, but i quickly realized that it could never be the only grocery store I hit.

I can't speak for anyone else, but to combat the weekend heavy eating, on days where I know I'm going to eat a lot of crap, I make sure one of my meals is really small. For example, this Saturday I had a Clif Bar and an apple and called it lunch. :)

I only joined in the middle of September, but I did and plan on updating my counts every two weeks.

Completely agree. I noticed a lot of processed food on your diary, and I would guess that some people's bodies retain those foods differently than others.

For me, at least to begin with, starting with a healthy diet did a lot of the work with my macros. The only one I consistently am at is protein. Eating healthy made most everything fall into place. The one new thing I'm tracking is sodium. I used to eat a lot of processed food without regard for how much sodium was in it.…

Gifs...please explain my thoughts when my words cannot.
-
Calories (obviously), and I'm focusing on sodium and not eating out so much.
-
Ditto. I'm only shopping for one person living alone, so anything that can go to waste I wouldn't be able to buy at (in my case) Costco

Stretching definitely. And after long runs I hit the ibuprofen.

Gonna go with 29

That top one should be your new profile pic. Great work!!!
-
How do you track it?
-
You have an absolutely gorgeous smile :)
-
George Foreman grill, plain and simple. I try to find different spice blends to top it with to keep me from getting bored with it.
-
Ditto. Sodium was the one thing that once I started tracking it, I had no idea there was so much of it the foods I ate.

Can I be in or is this women only?

Why do you think they schedule all the major marathons in September/October? I've been told the optimum long distance temp is mid-50s (10-15 Celsius)
-
You can't take this as law, because I'm only going off of what I read. I pound per week is pretty healthy. From what I've seen, the "two pounds per week" average is only acceptable if you are severely overweight. That is a heck of a lot of exercise to sustain over several weeks. I've always gone against BMR for calories in…

People need to learn the different between "old" and "older." Most people say old but mean older. and "older" is going to be different because it's all relative. And although not completely on the topic, I feel the need to point out this comic from The Oatmeal: http://theoatmeal.com/comics/age

There isn't enough THIS to THIS this post.

Like that "Hot older men on MFP" thread where most of it was females just camping and waiting for responses?
-
People want to be happy for other people. Mix that with the mere title of this forum and you're bound to get a little flirtatious
-
I guess the jist of what I'm saying is...would you feel worse if you missed your calorie count for the day or your water count?
-
I would say that it doesn't matter in the way you might think it matters, but I have a digital scale that gets that accurate, so I just go with whatever it give me.
-
Oh, that water weight can be a b**** sometimes.

Make him well aware of the RESULTS and he might change his tune. I totally agree with your point: to keep it as a habit, you (and he) has to feel like he MAKES time to workout, not FINDS time to work out.

Living by myself, this is EVERY morning....until I start my morning routine of making oatmeal with the morning news in the background.
