Eat whenever you like, it really doesn't matter. I have my first meal of the day at 11, but it's my personal preference. Also, there is no such a thing as "breakfast food", what people eat for breakfast changes in every country.
-
It helps if you eat, more or less, the same things everyday. For example: same breakfast and dinner, while lunch may slightly vary. And, as OP said, pre-logging is the real key.
-
Probably the best thing to do is to act as if these two weeks haven't happened. Just go back to logging, as if nothing changed. Obviously you need to still want to lose weight and you need to feel determined again.
-
Thank you all. :)
-
Can I ask you where to find the weekly calories? Is it only with premium app?
-
Thanks to all those who answered. I ignored my FitBit calories until this week, but I decided to follow what it says. I have, unsurprisingly, put back on 1 kg. But I'll give it another 2/3 weeks.
-
I have a question to people that use FitBit: Do you eat all the extra calories it gives you, only half or none at all?

I gained weight in a very short amount of time. It became hard to fit into my clothes. So I finally decided to step on the scale. What I saw scared me so much that I was immediately committed to start using MFP again and promised myself to never ever stop counting calories.

If you don't have any particular health problems, you don't have to limit your sugar, nor the fat. It's good that you limit the junk food, but if you are feeling that it's hard to be on track, try to insert some food that you like, everyday, not just once a week. Also be sure that 1300 is really the maximum you can eat,…

Yes, I have come to accept the fact that if I don't weigh and log my food I end up gaining weight.

Nausicaā. What a great character. I got the same hair and eyes color, it's something. :joy:

It looks like one of those Photoshop's tutorial, where they show how to make a person look thinner. Impressive, good job. :) ETA: it looks like that, because of the same outfit and expression.

I feel it's easier to discuss different times of the day when using a 24 hours clock. Or maybe it's simply because in Europe we are used to it. Hope it's not confusing.

This sounds like a dream. Or a nightmare.

This.

I never eat before 11 and sometimes I don't eat before 13 or 14. I am also hypoglycemic and I have low blood pressure. I do just fine, I don't feel too hungry nor fatigued. I also stop eating at 17.

Ice cream.

If I eat before bed (even 2 hours before) I have nightmares and I wake up with a stomachache. But I do IF and I stop eating usually around 17.00.

I used to be vegan and, during those years, I don't think I was overweight (130 pounds, 5'6"), but I was also using a program similar to MFP (FitDay) to monitor my macro and micronutrients.

Mine is open (to friends), but I admit I don't follow a healthy diet. And many entries are in Norwegians, not sure if it could be helpful.
-
Porridge! I could it twice a day, everyday. Wait... I do.
-
I used to do the same, until... a few days ago. Then my scale suddenly decided to connect on her own to MFP and everyday reports my new weight, so I keep losing the same hundreds grams over and over.

Weighing myself and the food I eat.

I just recently started to use the negative calories setting. I set my activity at sedentary. My goal is around 1400 calories. Personally, I like the fact that on days I don't move I am "forced" to eat fewer calories and on days where I walk a lot I get to eat more. I think that, when using a step-tracker, it's better to…

I use a FitBit and I enabled negative calories. I set activity level on sedentary and yesterday, because I sat at home all day, MFP took about 150 calories away. I have a question. What do you guys do on the days MFP gives you many more calories to eat? Do you eat them all? Half? None? Is FitBit (more or less) accurate?

It's hard for me to say "passion" because, as a schizoid, everything is... attenuated, opaque. But I am never bored, because I do like to do many things: painting, reading, playing the piano, to name a few. But also watching tv-series, studying languages, live in foreign countries, playing with my cats, playing video games.
-
It's nice to read that you were able to go back on track. Great motivation for us all. Stopping (once again) to use MFP is my greatest fear while dieting.

I am on medication as well. It's true that they contribuite to weight gain. This past year I was taking a very high dosage and I gained 15 kg in just one year. BUT I wasn't using MFP (huge mistake). Now I am back on MFP (50 days) and I have lost 4 kg. You can lose weight, it's just going to be a little harder because the…

That it would be impossible for me to lose weight while I take my medications.
