  • Mine are mine and my husband's wedding rings. I hadn't been able to wear mine for a few years due to weight gain (I was wearing them on a necklace he had given me in the meantime) and he hadn't been able to wear his due to complications from carpal tunnel syndrome. One of my main goals was to be able to wear my rings…
  • Those are some of the coolest wine charm rings I've ever seen! Love them!

  • I am not an RN or an RD, but I am an LPN. I am currently not working because I chose to stay home with my kids to help them get through some difficult years and, now that they are through them, I cannot return to work due to breaking my leg. Two surgeries and almost three years later, I was still using a cane to walk. I…
  • Welcome to MFP! Feel free to add me, if you'd like. (And anyone else who'd like to add me, for that matter.) I'm always looking for new friends to help me along the way as well and for people I can help along the way too..
  • Hello and welcome to MFP. You can do this! And when you feel like you can't, the people here in this community will help you through it. This is a great place to give and get help and inspire and find the inspiration you need to meet your goals. Feel free to add me or message me if I can help in any way. :)

  • I'm here to lose weight through diet and exercise and then maintain it afterwards. New friends are always welcome. Feel free to add me.
  • I absolutely cannot bring myself to try avocados. I don't know why, I just can't. My other scary food is cottage cheese. I actually tried this one once and I was so panicked over trying it that I couldn't even tell if I liked it or not and now I'm just not sure if I'd ever want to try it again!
  • Be sure to keep an eye on your body measurements, too... not just your weight. Some people see the inches come off the waist and hips long before they see the pounds come off, especially with weight training. And like the others have said, diet is very important -- not only what you eat but how much you eat.
  • Count me in please! I use a recumbent bike because it's easier on my knees. I average 25 miles a day at a speed of approximately 18mph and ride 5-6 days each week. I also do short sprints up to 25mph for about 10 minutes a day when I'm feeling up to it.
  • I joined MFP a little under 2 weeks ago, so I am very new here, but please feel free to add me if you'd like. :)
  • I'm new to MFP as well. Feel free to add me, if you'd like. I've only been logging for a little over a week now, but I plan on being here for quite a while because even after I lose the weight and inches I want to lose, I want to be able to maintain it!
