I probably average 7. I usually wake up quite early, no matter when I go to bed, so if I don't go to bed by 1 am I am still up before 7 am. Usually it doesn't affect me much. It takes about 3 days in a row of bad sleep (less than 6 hours) before I really feel it. I still occasionally stay up all night due to my job (I take…

Possibly Hyannis half marathon. Probably Providence RI as my first marathon, and bretton woods to Hampton beach Ragnar in September ... So far that and a local 10k I want to do sub one hour on are my plan this year.

I have my 2nd marathon coming up on september 1st. And then a 3rd marathin end of October.

Siggi's nonfat yogurt has 22 grams protein for 140 calories. I put it in smoothies, use it instead of sour cream, mix it with fruit Tempeh is good to add to salads, stir fried, etc Quinoa, black beans, chickpeas. None of them are my favorite but i will put them in salads or bowl mixes to add protein.

Honestly? at 5' about 110 and only vanity pounds left to lose I'm lucky to get 3 lbs a month of loss. Though, I also find sticking to calories hard since it no longer adjusts for steps (WTH mfp?) and only adjusts for my running and riding. Which typically gives me an extra 500 to play with, but still, I get seriously…

I like some techno in mine (strong steady beat) like Castles in the Sky. Second Imagine Dragons and Eminem, they are both on my playlist.

I fell in love with it last summer and did a 10k, a night run, a 5 mile, and a half marathon last year for races. Now I'm training for my first marathon in May. I've seen a lot of improvements in my aerobic fitness and split times.

Jan 5: 112.4 Jan 12: 112.9 Jan 17: 110.5 Jan 24: 109.8 Jan Goal: 110 GW: 100 Yay! Goal met! Running is going reasonably well. It sucks up a lot of my time, but that is to be expected. I'm booked for most of my long distance running events this season. @rianneonamission gym sounds like it is going well. Definitely walk if…

You can do it! There will always be naysayers. Just ignore them and move on.

Funny. With my garmin the exercises are syncing but the steps are not adjusting calorie count. This has been happening all month. I've just been using the Connect app for calories instead of mfp.

Set up an appointment with a personal trainer at the gym. Their attitude should tell you if you'll feel welcome or not, and they can give you direction in your workouts.

I am training for a marathon. At about 20 miles/week in my training plan. I'm 4'11" and about 110. I would like to be about 100 by the start of the race, but that said I'm not planning on messing up my training for a few vanity pounds (22 bmi to 20 bmi, basically vanity pounds). I just keep a lot of healthy snacks around,…

I liked my first half marathon so much I decided to become a marathon runner. Lol. My first marathon will be Toronto, on May 5th. I've already signed up for my second as well, on September 1st in Greenfield, MA (that one is closer, within driving distance of my home, and capped at 450 people) with the goal of using the…

We will get to about 6° F tomorrow here. With windchill around -25° F. Not sure if I will go running in it or not. (I am well adjusted to the cold. I work outside most days, and will dress in layers.)

Jan 5: 112.4 Jan 12: 112.9 Jan 17: 110.5 Jan Goal: 110 GW: 100 A bit early but traveling this weekend. Once my period ended it turned out those 2 lbs were fictional. Yay! Hoping not to self sabotage when out with my friend this weekend.

I kind of love and hate the changes. Everyone congratulates me or even says I've lost too much. I wish no one commented because it makes me self conscious (I still feel "chubby").

I'm female, 30, training for a marathon. I am between 39 and 42 VO2 as measured by a Garmin GPS running watch. I probably log 180-210 intensity minutes per week. I would guess you need to add some serious cardio, building up over time. I consider myself an athlete but am nowhere near "elite", as measured by VO2.

I dont eat for at least an hour before I run. And i make sure I'm drinking water but not gulping in large amounts all at once. I tend to cramp and then get diarrhea, so a bit different. Usually when I'm pushing hard, not on just an easy run. Hope you figure it out!

I gained a couple pounds but mostly water weight. As soon as my routine was back and I had a look at my upcoming goals it was super easy.

I'm 4'11" (I say 5'). Measurements are 30/26/35. Weight 112 ish. US size 2. When I started I was 32/31/38, 148, size 8.

Jan 5: 112.4 Jan 12: 112.9 Jan Goal: 110 GW: 100 Not the direction I was looking to go in. Started my period, which may have something to do with it. Weather is super cold and windy. Have run a little, but should run more. @rianneonamission I have done a half marathon but this will be my first full marathon.

No soda, alcohol, or juice. Too many calories and there are far more satisfying places to get my calories.
-
I usually estimate it as cardio, around 300-400 calories per hour, but I am in a duel heavy FMA stick fighting and knife fighting program. Movement is constant with explosive lunges/attacks/evasions.

So just decided to lose a bit more... I was maintaining between 105 and 115 but thought I might want to be a little leaner before my first marathon in May, so aiming for 100 by May. Aiming for 110 by end of January. SW: 112.4 GW: 100 January Goal: 110 And also to keep up with my running. January is not the most motivating…

I realised this my last year of college. A good pair of shoes makes a huge difference. I like a lot of cushion for my normal runs and try to change out every 400 miles or so. (About every 6 - 8 months)

Funny. If I forget my phone in my pocket google fit thinks I'm biking. What I'm usually doing is riding a horse.

CW: 108.7 GW: 100 November goal: 104 Hopefully I remember to update this!

Rice and veggie bowls that can just be popped in the microwave. Curries.

I take a multivitamin that has iron and a protein powder everyday.

Now that I'm done with a half marathon going to go for a full marathon. Probably Toronto on May 5th. Top goal: finishing. Next goal: under 4:30 (slightly slower pace time than my half). Then the LHRR first weekend in June.. hoping for a PR of 1:05
