Is the activity multiplier right for moderate exercise? 1x BMR??

I am 5"3 SW - 243 lbs - 38/40 JJ CW - 147 lbs - 30/32 F - Although probably need a proper measure as some of my bras are a bit "empty". Love being able to buy bras anywhere and now have an obsession with also buying the matching knickers!

22.5% smaller than my perception, but I knew that I was out with that, as I still feel "fat" in my head. Getting there though.

Followed Dan's in place of a road map, which essentially means I eat less and move more..............

Yep, agree with everyone else, don't weigh yourself so much and if you do have to (because I struggle to follow this rule myself if I'm honest) weigh yourself at the same time every day, I would never weigh myself twice in one day. Also I have a rule that it doesn't count (either way) unless you see it on the scales twice!

I started off on MFP eating 1200kcals plus eating back exercise calories, I lost weight, consistently, but after about 6 weeks, I panicked about where I would go from 1200 to keep on losing weight. I then read Dan's in place of a road map, started eating TDEE -20% so averaging 1750 calories a day, I haven't looked back, I…

Obviously if I actually was going to turn 40 in June 2014 then I would love to join you, but I am not, I plan to remain in my 30's for at least another 12 years.....??? So no, can't join you sorry........

I would recommend gait analysis, if you can find a shop near you that does it. Best thing I have done, my new Brooks Glycerins are like putting on my slippers to run!

I don't mind buying the new clothes (in fact that's an understatement, I love, love love it!) but I do hold myself back because there is no point getting loads (especially key items, or classics) because I am not yet the size I want to be. Currently I am giving most of my bigger stuff to my sister, but she will soon be…

Sports bra Iphone with Runmeter app My chocolate dog!

I started off MFP with about 1250 - 1350 cals, as set by the app. I was losing weight (and eating back any exercise cals) but I was also starting to panic about how I could eat less than 1200 calories a day If I lost weight and whether or not that was sustainable long term. I then plateaued for a few weeks. I read Dan's in…

Before I started running, a friend said to me that "the hardest part is putting your trainers on" Thats so true, once you are up and the trainers are on, nothing else to it.................................... sort of!

This is great, I love it.

Running for me too, never thought I would ever say that, but now I am training for a 10k and considering doing a half marathon this time next year. I hated hated hated running at school and would do anything to get out of it.

As often as you can afford to and want to!!! It feels great buying clothes in a smaller size!!!!!!!

I live in the UK and I am holidaying in Turkey, temperatures at least 30 degrees even first thing in the morning, way too hot for me! I'm used to the rain and the wind, and to me thats preferable to running in such heat, so the treadmill it is! Thanks for the advice.

Thanks for all the responses, it was run meter that recommended it (technically for after 9K but I thought 8.7K) was near enough) I am significantly overweight and do worry a little about my knees!! (although they feel fine when I run). I have been building up from nothing really since end of March, so I am by no means a…

I bought one of these about 18 months ago, its really comfy (sort of got gel inside at the back that moulds to your arm) My iPhone 3g and now my 4s fits in well, you can also fit a house key and a bit of cash if you need it. It was a little expensive but at the time I wanted one that would fit over my bingo wings!!…
