This. Don't even understand the point of this thread. You can log food for whatever day you want.

This. Good christ, grow up.

Sprained my ankle 5 minutes into a BodyCombat classes 3 days ago. I know it happens, but I was really embarrassed because the instructor noticed my ankle rolling and I had to leave the class. Not sure if it was the shoes or just an accident.

Jay Robb makes egg white protein powder. Non-gmo and all natural. I've only had his whey flavors which are delicious, but I don't know about the egg white kind.

I was on SparkPeople and then WW for a while, but then decided it wasn't worth the cost, quite honestly. MFP will do everything WW does, unless you're looking for the extra support from meetings. I only did the online version. Too expensive for what it is.

If you have an iPhone, the App Stitch Pic does that.

Bump. Please help!

You have your measurements completely wrong. There are also different kinds of pastas out there that are lower in calories. Ronzoni Smart Taste is my favorite, my Dreamfields' low carbs pastas are good too.
-
WRONG. HRMs are not made for strength training, only aerobic exercise.
-
Not to downplay your fitness accomplishments, but using 12-15lb dumbbells is hardly lifting. That's cardio.

I have to say, I have never been more glad to be done with...what? 6 threads? of people's food. Took me 2 days. PHEW!
-
How do you find it accurate? HRMs don't work for weight lifting, so you're just estimating, at best.
-
I'm sorry, but what? You're willing to risk your health (and potentially life if you damage your spine) just to look good? There are plenty of other forms of exercise you can do that won't pose a risk, especially if you're not willing to consult your doctor about it. I just don't understand the logic here. ETA: I'm not…

You guys make me feel bad about myself, but I only lift 3 days a week. Absolutely nothing on other days, because I'm usually too sore to do anything.

I bought Quest bars because everyone raves about them. I don't know if it's just because I quit artificial sweeteners cold turkey a couple of years ago, but they taste completely of gross sugar alcohols to me. Returned the ones I had left.

I read NROLFW and didn't like the protein shake pushing, and also didn't have a barbell at the time. I now do, and have started StrongLifts 5x5. It's easy, doesn't require changing the exercises after each stage, and works. It was also free (I got NROLFW at the library though.) It comes with a great excel tracker and…

Just an fyi - not all bars are 45 pounds. I bought one and weighed it on a scale, turned out to be 15 pounds. Just be careful to not overestimate the weight.

I forgot about Flatout. These are great too, a bit more like pitas than tortillas, which is great for sandwiches/wraps. Also a bit expensive, though.

Every time I see you post your picture cracks me up.

Definitely agree on the Checkers. I think Chick Fil A waffle fries are the best, but I don't eat there anymore :noway:
-
Why only the whites? Whole eggs are good for you. Eating the yolks might help to make you feel fuller.

My mom (who doesn't know anything about nutrition so I'm not sure if I can fault her for it) has repeatedly told me to stay under 1200 calories. A few times she's told me to eat 800. I pretty much laughed in her face. I've tried showing her evidence, but I think it's mostly that she doesn't know how many calories are in…

I love Joseph's, they're really the fluffiest pita-types you'll find. I get La Tortilla Factory Smart wraps sometimes too (but they're pricey.) I think it's about 50 cals for a decent-sized tortilla.

You could easily google this and get the whole plan from Stronglifts.

Palak Paneer is delicious and low carb - just spinach and paneer cheese.

Aspartame turns into formaldehyde in the body. The day I found that out, I quit ALL artificial sweeteners cold turkey. The thought alone is revolting, and now I get headaches or feel really sick when I have anything with them, which says a lot.

I have one that other people think is gross that I love, and I didn't go through the last 8 pages, but I doubt anyone has said it: I love spaghetti with ketchup/sriracha and parm cheese. NOM. Not sure why.

Got it. I'm looking into getting Spud Suspensions, or TDS Safeties. Or just upgrading, we'll see. In the meantime, I have those small barbells that work as dumbbells, so i guess I could use those to bench. I was trying to avoid that, but the main thing I wanted barbell for was squats and deadlifts anyway, so I'll modify…
-
I think my main concern is bench. I'm planning to do front squats, so I think I can just let the bar drop if necessary.

What kind of safety bar? Is that something I can add on?
