I ran your numbers through fat2fit. According to them with what you described as your activity level you have an estimated TDEE of 2169 and BMR of 1399. http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/ http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ I would suggest eating over your BMR and under TDEE. As you get closer to your goal…

I compromise, my fiance gets whole milk, I buy my almond milk. He gets full fat dressing and I use healthier options. He gets regular ice cream and I make myself some frozen yogurt with whatever fresh/frozen fruit I have on hand. Just because I choose to eat a certain way, doesn't mean everyone else is obligated. Find a…

That's pretty much impossible, two separate functions. That would be a special thing indeed/:

About to agree with the post above mine. Not sure you are working with accurate numbers. Looks like you're using an estimated TDEE and not taking into account intense exercise which wouldn't have you at sedentary if you're exercising at least an hour a day 5 days a week...

6 miles today...
-
13.9:)

I'm in Sterling Heights/Macomb County:) Went sledding and hiking last weekend at some park in Dryden. I usually try to at least get out on the weekends and do some hiking.

Squats, Lunges, walking lunges, deadlifts or other movements which involve a lot of moving. Building up your muscles, like your legs will make you a more efficient fat burning machine.

I second this:)

These are mine/: I do not want them smothered in cheese, I do not want them lightly steamed, boiled, raw, roasted or sauteed and in my mouth. And green peppers, they ruin anything they come in contact with.

I was never peeved. In fact I think it's the opposite. The people that seem most defensive are the ones thinking by skipping a meal you magically go into "starvation mode" and your metabolism shuts down in panic. I would suggest some people keep an open mind and do independent research and pay attention to the source of…

I do IF also. The whole 6 meals a day thing doesn't have a benefit over 3 meals or one big meal. It doesn't keep your metabolism stoked, in fact, bigger meals have a bigger effect. Diet preference isn't one size fits all. If skipping a meal causes someone to binge or eat more in later meals then yes, it's bad for them, not…

I use Endmondo also. I just don't use it to estimate the calorie burn, I find it to be quite a bit higher than my HRM.

21.5 miles at the gym:)
-
3 miles from yesterday at General Squier Park in Dryden, Michigan. Went sledding for an hour then Hiked around their paths and off paths for another hour or so. I wish I could get an extra mile for being in sub 20 weather:)

http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/ You could use a calculator like this one above. Just plug in your numbers, if you use your current weight in both boxes it will give you your estimated TDEE. Try starting with a 20% cut from that number.

I would just add to be careful with the leg weights. They can throw your stride off and cause injury/: Besides reading it I worked with a guy that used them for jogging and tore some ligaments in his knee. He limped around for over 4 months. I have a 12 lb weight vest and some wrist ones that I love. I usually just add the…

I couldn't help myself! Once I got started with the cardio I couldn't stop. ARC, cardio circuit, elliptical then the bike.

I'm going to cut down the miles some this month, want to shift towards lifting. We'll see, I have a feeling once I get going I won't want to stop. In for 200!
-
Sometimes I take some greek yogurt, thin it out with just a tablespoon or less of milk, depending on much/little I'm making and then a sprinkle of hidden valley ranch seasoning mix.
-
Had a marathon session at gym to finish my miles for the month:) I'm going to have to scale back some for next month. I want to shift my focus to weight training, it's my B-day on the 11th and a short month on top of it. Great job to all!

I love that show. You probably could have directly addressed the person that offended you. I think that when you've lost weight or have struggled with it, you put more emphasis on food than an average person. It really does seem that it was him trying for some casual conversation. Not sure why you feel the need to bash his…

Have you ever tried a renegade row? At least that's what I call them. Hold the dumb bells in your hand under shoulders get into a plank position (arms straight) pull alternating arms back into a row then kick back drop back down then out to the side in a fly, repeat. Looks good!

Fage 0% Greek, use it in place of sour cream, sweeten it with some stevia or fresh fruit. 130 calories for a cup, 9 g sugar and 23 grams protein. Love it:)

Thanks for the recipe, sounds delicious:)
-
3 miles during a very cold walk.
-
Never realized it until this week but Pizza.
-
We had a baked Buffalo Chicken served with Alexia Seasoned Waffle Fries, celery and carrot sticks along with a dipping sauce made out of Fage 0 % Greek Yougurt, and amish blue cheese crumbles.

I have the FT4, love it! Easy to use and set up. Easy to change settings on watch as the weight drops. It communicates with whatever machine I'm on to display my HR. I'm really excited to use it when the weather gets a bit nicer to use on my bike. The chest strap is also very comfortable and easy to care for.
