I started at 218, down 17lbs in six weeks eating 1200/day. If I'm hungry I eat back my exercise calories, and I sometimes eat up to 1500 on the weekends (when I'm out and about more). This is what works for me.

I have oily skin, and swimming in chlorinated water has always benefited my skin. Maybe your skin is getting TOO dry, and upping your sebum production. Do you moisturize after?

I personally do not count decimals on MFP. I have such a large amount of weight to lose that it would be moot; I can see how people with smaller amounts of to lose would keep track of their exact weight, though. But unless you weigh-in at the same time everyday, I don't think the decimal points on a pound are an accurate…

Every time I see a photo of myself, I think, "That's not me!" It finally clicked that if I am a skinny girl at heart, I should be one on the outside, too.

I live in the country, surrounded by agricultural crops. One of my neighbors grows certified organic, but his farm is also surrounded by non-organic farms. I regularly see pesticides blowing free over this "organic" crops from adjoining fields as they are being sprayed. You can also watch the the pollen from GMO crops…

Thanks for all the great advice everyone - especially the girls :) More empathy, I guess. I seem to be woefully ignorant of how my body works. I thought that because I have so much excess fat, my body would burn the fat in place of my food intake? I don't see the difference between my body burning fuel through my stomach…

I made my food diary public, it may shock and disgust you. I have really bad, lazy eating habits and am still trying to find a balance between what is good for me, what I like, and the junk food I crave. If I will feel tired as long as I am eating less cals than I need, will it hurt me to just diet more and exercise less?
