Thanks guys! And yup, I ran a Color Run in May, which was really awesome and fun :D the one I did was a walk/run, so you could totally still do it and get coloured, even if you're ankles aren't up for running. I know it won't really help as much in the weight loss department, but it'd still be fun! Thanks again!…

Thanks for the encouragement guys! :flowerforyou:

Heh, same thing happened to me when I started karate :P though I think it may be more of a "oh I can actually be maybe more efficient in a fight" sort of twitch :)

You've definitely got to live a little with this process, and moderation is definitely key! This MFP thing is more about a lifestyle change than a hardcore "you must do this all the time!" type thing, and you're definitely finding the balance  enjoy your summer!!

Ha! I love the gif! Thanks so much for the support everybody! :blushing: :flowerforyou:

Sorry I'm a day late posting! I didn't see as much difference as I'd hoped for, but definitely seeing progress, especially from the very beginning! Great idea! I of course just saw this on Tuesday, but I'll just do a bunch for the rest of the week :P

Well, I'm still down from the beginning of the challenge, but not down as far as I would've liked to be. I've apparently hit the point where my body fat % is low enough to start irritating my hormones, cause TOM is getting to be more and more of a headache, and making it harder to not eat emotionally! Going to definitely…

Haha, I noticed the changes on the spreadsheet, but had honestly forgotten about this group page :P Was curious what was going on!

Unfortunately no pictures really, but I can say mine is going away! I'm an hourglass, so my lower belly/love handles seem to be the last place I'm losing, but even so, they have gone down tremendously. Keep your head up! They'll get packing soon enough

You look great! Awesome job! And I love the pictures!

I finally managed to break though the plateau I've been on for a couple months! I'm now down from 163-165 to 159! Here's to hoping that the new dietitian approved diet keeps working :)

Cadbury Eggs! I've already managed to walk by them in the grocery store check out line, so hopefully I'll stay away from them this year completely!

Going okay! Decreasing my calories a bit, but not feeling hungry, which is awesome. Didn't get quite enough water, but I'll drink some more today  Headed to karate class now, always a great workout.

Hi Everyone! My name is Courtney, and I live in Raleigh, NC! I'm 22, and will be turning 23 this summer, so hopefully I'll have made some weight accomplishments by my next birthday! I'm a recent college graduate from NCSU (go pack!), and have always had just a little bit of a muffin top that never seems to go away, despite…

I'm going to attempt to add everyone, but feel free to add me too! :)

Heya! I'm also new to Stronglifts, (finally) started today, after having scheduled it a week ago. Got sick :grumble: stupid body. I typically aim for TDEE-20, maybe a little more if I'm not hungry that day, or aren't exercising as hard. I work out typically 10+ hours a week, as I do karate for at least 5, then running,…

That's fantastic! You should really be proud of yourself!! :D

Awesome! That's some great progress :D Keep it up!

Heya! I'm a 22 year old, recent college grad. Been on here technically since August, but was stupid about dieting when I started. I've gotten more dedicated to this site since then, and have been researching about TDEE, body fat %, etc. Also started a cleaner diet as of the new year, with some exceptions! Starting the…

To the girls in particular: what sort of arm/shoulder/back weights do you do? I'm not completely new to weight lifting, but am curious to see what you guys have had the most success with. Thanks in advance!

I'd recommend using something like the Scooby Calorie Counter. You could probably eat more than you think, as long as its nutritionally rich, and you're not eating higher calories in junk food :) If your body is fueled with the proper foods, it'll lose the extra weight!

Awesome thread! Everyone looks so great! :drinker:
