I'm a bridesmaid at the end of this year. Would love not to have to wear spanx!
-
Upped my distance and pace yesterday and felt great!

Lasagne made with slow cooked short rib, wafer thin fresh pasta and smoked gouda on top. A side of braised cabbage and bacon, and a rocket parmesan and pine nut salad with balsamic reduction. Then a dark chocolate fondant with peanut butter ice cream and fresh raspberries and creme brulee for dessert.

I used to do this at my old gym. Gutted they don't have it at my current one. It's so much fun. I did the modified versions of the higher impact stuff when I was heavier and worked up to the full on jumping around type stuff.

Hella yes! Already mentally logged my run tonight and I'll have enough workout calories for some Ben and Jerry's later! I just don't have snacks so late that I still feel full when I go to bed.

Toxin laser quest?

I have a couple of shock absorbers and get the extreme impact one. That's the only one that works for me and I'm a similar size to you (34FF/G). I do find I need to replace them every 12 months depending on how much I've used them.

You could try walking like a cowboy? ;)
-
Also avocado.
-
Peanut butter. That is all.

To be honest it sounds like you're making a lot of excuses. I don't mean to be rude or harsh but so far reasons you can't walk any more - your house is too small, you work from home all day, your dog won't let you, your bf is ill, if you go to the market too much you'll spend money. On a helpful note, I have a sedentary…

You're going to get people telling you to open your diary and post you stats so they can help you. Do it. MFP has some really knowledgable people on who've lost more pounds than you can count. But they can only help you if they have the right info. Good luck and welcome.
-
One of the most repeated phrases on MFP is "get digital scales and weigh everything". You don't appreciate why until you see something like that!
-
It seems kind of like mass delusion in a way. No one wants to stop and address the fact that it takes time and effort to be the healthiest version of yourself that you can be. Instead it's easier to just latch onto a fad and be part of the herd rather than give yourself the attention you deserve. I doubt if the majority of…

You don't need to work out every day to lose weight. And most of the experienced successful people on MFP will tell you it's good to have rest days so your muscles can repair instead of continually breaking them down (there's threads with all the science on). And 10lb in 22 days is amazing! You're doing well.

Numberwang! I'm in London.

You're just a little shorter than me and weigh less than I did when I was a slim teenager dancing and doing martial arts every day. Maybe it's not weight you need to lose, but body fat %. Look at some of the weight lifting forums. There's loads of info on changing body composition and some ladies with rocking bodies from…

Put a little lemon juice on it.

First off, well done for deciding to make a change. Second, you'll probably find that when you start weighing things you're actually eating more calories than you think. Third, while very low calories may be appropriate for @zerafa99 , based on your stats 2000 sounds like a pretty good place to start. You can always adjust…

A bit off topic (sorry OP) but after reading opinions from presumably people from the US, I have to say that you generally sound like many of you have been seriously misinformed about state health care in socialist countries. In the UK (where I am) I've never had to wait 6 months to see a specialist, as several people have…

I call bulls**t. There is no peer reviewed conslusive evidence that supports this. It's just an excuse some people use. Now, saying that, they have been shown to increase appetite in some people so you may put weight on from that. But it still comes down to calories in vs calories out.
-
Outside and alone. I'm super slow so no one can run with me exactly. They just end up way ahead and stopping to wait for me a lot!
-
What are these "leftovers" that you speak of? I'm unfamiliar with the term.
-
Yes and there's a spinning option under cardio somewhere. It kind of assumes you worked hard so if you feel like you were slacking a bit, just use the stationary bike option instead. 800+ is a lot but it depends on your stats. I burn around 500-550 an hour doing spin but someone taller/heavier could burn more. (I'm 5'6"…

Sarcasm my dear. But oh hi *waves*

Maybe people with genetic predispositions to heart disease and high cholesterol should start suing McDonald's for only serving high salt/fat food (don't know about elsewhere but even the salads in the UK have hideous amounts). Or maybe just eat somewhere else if it bothers you that much.
-
Look up "So you want to start running" in the threads. It's by @ThickMcRunFast and it's really good for a place to start.
