You can absolutely manage to lose weight without exercise. Many people on MFP do it. You just have to make sure calories in are less than calories out and be accurate with your logging. Maybe you could ask a trainer to put together a routine for you that allows for whatever limitations you have if you want to incorporate…

Please don't do this. I'm several inches shorter than you, around 17kg lighter and I eat more than 1500 cals a day to lose. And that's before counting exercise cals. There's no need to make yourself hangry.

Just read up on Freelee the banana girl. How the hell could anyone say they eat 3.5kg of potatoes in one sitting?! I'd be throwing up if I tried to eat anything in that amount. And I can EAT.

I made my own bircher for this morning and it was yum. Rolled oats, whatever yoghurt you like and some berries. Mix together the night before and just grab it out the fridge in the morning. Came in at just over 300cals.

Actually you're both correct. It can be either a sign of damage to the bone or the surrounding soft tissue! Either way ice does help and don't run through the pain, you might cause more damage.

Stop... wait a minute. (so tempting to sing the rest in the office) No you didn't gain 1.5lb in a week from counting cals and working out more. Think logically about it. If you just started a new workout regime, your body needs a second to get used to it. Keep it up and weigh again next week. Also, why are you hating on…

I'm a massive fan of Asian flavours with fish. Cod is pretty inoffensive and tends to just take on whatever flavours you put with it so could be a good place to start. Try baking it. Wrap it in foil, add ginger, chilli, garlic, honey, fish sauce, soy sauce and a few lime wedges. Close it up and put it in the oven for 15…

Yes please! Been really rubbish the last few months and had two holidays with a hideous amount of food and drink. So I'm being a new year cliche. At least I'm not a total newbie and already know what I've been doing wrong!

I've had mine for 2 and a half years and haven't had any issues with it. I did put on weight but that was from eating junk and sitting on my butt!

Change is not a future event, it's a present activity. (love a bit of GM)

I think you look amazing! Really good job. Well done. It doesn't sound like you're the one with image issues. Maybe they just aren't used to seeing you looking so great and being so healthy. Just give your family time to get used to it.

Me too! Just started back on c25k on week 4. I'm really slow. Used to go to run club to do 5k every week and I was always at the very back. Much prefer to run on my own and not feel like I have to try and keep up with everyone else.

Poached egg is amazing on top of chicken salad. You don't need dressing if you keep the yolk runny. Yum!

If your contract says 4 weeks and you never agreed to longer than that, then that's what you're legally required to give. They can't demand you give more notice. A contract is a contract. If you're really worried go speak to CAB. They'll tell you the same thing and might give you something in writing as a backup.

I went back a week in your diary and only saw one piece of fruit and no veg. And lots of pepsi every day. Nuff said.

I'm a snacker. Fruit, yoghurt, smaller cookies, popcorn, vegetables, mini bags of chocolates, weighing things (especially high cal things like nuts where it's easy to go over), these are your friends. And you can exercise your way to snacking more. You just have to bust your butt to do it. I love peanut butter cup b&j so I…

Pizza at Franco Manca. Best pizza in London! Sourdough crust baked in a woodfired oven, covered in garlic oil, ricotta, wild mushrooms and old spot ham. Mmmmmmmmm.

Urgh. A trainer at my gym tried to tell me to eat low carb the other day, because "sugar is the worst thing you can eat". Pretty sure if I ate cyanide it'd be worse.

I finished level 2 yesterday. I'll start level 3 tomorrow. Is it horrible? I couldn't even finish the first set of military presses with leg extensions and cheer squats with v flies to start with. By the end I could do them all! Haven't lost any weight but I'm fighting the urge to measure til the end (losing my tape…

I was in the same boat. I had to lose 28lb before I dropped a dress size. With me it was because the weight was spread out pretty evenly all over, so a big loss only made a tiny difference to each area. It's frustrating but worth it once you get there.
-
Hi, I'm in London. 28lb lost and about another 25 to go.
-
Don't worry, it's temporary. A few weeks of classes and it'll go away. I spin a few times a week and it doesn't hurt at all any more (apart from the muscle soreness obv.).

I made myself a little picnic today. Chorizo, salami, mozzarella, olives, pickles, tomatoes and carrots. No prep needed, just wash the veg and chuck it all in a lunch box.
-
Finished level 1 day 7 yesterday. Went to the gym after and I could definitely see my tummy was flatter in the great big unforgiving mirrors. Not measuring until I get to the end though.

I'm not that big. It must be my contraception. I must have a thyroid problem. I've been really good all day so I can eat half a cheesecake.
