This! This is the one that I'm on!

Agreed on all counts. A good start, OP, might be with the medical professional that diagnosed you with BDD in the first place.

OMG BUMP. I have some cottage cheese leftover from a faux bechamel that I made the other day. I've been wondering what to do with it. Brilliant!

BWAH!

What an awesome answer. ALSO - Everything that LorinaLynn just said. That lady has a way with words, I tell 'ya.

Excellent post! Couldn't have written that better myself. LOVE this!

So glad you weathered the storm! I'm kind of in the same boat. Was just getting ready for week 4 of Burn when I sprained my ankle. GAH. So, I just started over this week. I think it kind of helped that going in, I understood the failure concept, because I'm using heavier weights now than when I finished week 3 the first…

I'm starting over after an ankle injury and just finished my first week of Burn. I only made it three weeks in before the injury. *sigh* My biggest fear going forward is that I will dread the Burn Intervals and Burn it Off because you do them so often. I'm going to sub in running or some Turbo Jam workouts. I think Punch,…

HA! Just yesterday, I scanned something and the bar code was recognized for a 100% completely different thing.

I started cooking my own beans from scratch about a year ago. It's ridiculously easy. Soak a pound or two of dried beans overnight. The next day, rinse them, throw them in a big pot, cover generously with water, crank the heat, and get them up to a nice simmer. Let them go for about 30-45 minutes (Depends on the bean -…

Oh, wow. Is she still alive?

Here's my workaround for that, especially for soups, stews, gumbo, etc - I measure the whole batch in cups after it's finished. Then I use the # of total cups as the number of people the whole batch serves. I have a lot of things measured like that, so I automatically know that one serving = one cup. If I eat a cup and a…

Lots of really good suggestions here! I have to add a site that I stumbed on awhile back while looking for a recipe: http://blog.fatfreevegan.com/ I've tried several recipes from there and they were all really good (LOVE that "Eat the Rainbow Black Bean Soup)!

It depends on what kind of day it is. On work days, I've recently started logging everything as I put it into my lunch bag (breakfast, lunch, snacks, etc). I used to not do that and I would just log as I ate, but now I find it easier for hectic work days to just put everything on MFP as I get it ready in the morning. Then…

TOTALLY going to try the boiled egg whilte/hummus combo. MMMM.

BUMP, because YAY DEER SEASON! We process a "chunkier" cut to use for chili, and some of the ground gets cut with smoked bacon, which makes THE BEST MEATLOAF OMG. I'd like to know what people do with backstrap besides chicken frying it, because that's the only way I've found that I like it. Maybe I'll have to try a braise…

I hope so! I can't remember the last time I bought sour cream! Love that you can just pile it onto things.

Brava! Love this post!

I don't really care for most of the Morningstar and Boca stuff, but I do use Quorn products and like them pretty well. I make my own black bean burgers and freeze them - so much better flavor and texture than the prefab ones from the store.
-
I do this too, with the Quorn products - they have a similar breaded chicken patty and then also "naked" cutlets which are similar to grilled chicken. MMMM.

Amy's is my go-to for lunch when I don't have leftovers to bring. I love Amy's breakfasts, too! Kashi also makes a few pretty good frozen meals as well. While I try not to eat a lot of processed stuff, I've found that the "best" frozen meals come from Amy's, with Kashi a close second. Also, not sure where you live, but in…

Nice! Good job!

I second Chalean Extreme that was mentioned upthread. I'm getting ready to re-start it very soon. There's also a book out there that I haven't bought/read yet but comes highly recommended on these forums: The New Rules of Lifting For Women. Maybe give that a look? Years ago I used Joyce Vedral's Fat Burning Workout and put…

I LOVE Turbo Jam. There is one 20 minute workout , but the majority of them are between 35-50 minutes. There are low-intensity people to follow in the videos, and you can add intensity by following Chalene, adding weighted gloves, etc. I'd say they're pretty challenging.

HA, this made me laugh. Funny but true! Pizza is my kryptonite. I will destroy a pizza buffet. Oh, how I miss pizza buffets! I have to make my own at home with the really thin wheat crusts and my own toppings. Turkey pepperoni is surprisingly good! I'd do what everyone else is suggesting. Push play on an exercise DVD, go…

When I decided to start getting back in shape, I wanted something to do besides run, so I bought the Beach Body 10-Minute Trainer. It's a series of 10-minute workouts that focus on different body parts, or just cardio. The premise is that you do 3 workouts or so in a day. That led to Turbo Jam, which showed up in the ads…

Skinnytaste.com has a section of quick and easy meals. I've never tried anything from this site that wasn't really, really good: http://www.skinnytaste.com/search/label/Quick%20and%20Easy%20Meals She also has a lot of crock pot recipes. And speaking of crock pots, http://skinnyms.com/ is the motherload of slow cooker…

I have so many favorites, but the ones I have made multiple times are the Salisbury Steaks mentioned above, the turkey meatloaf cupcakes, and ALL of the enchiladas. OOH, and the chicken and lentil soup! It's finally getting cool enough down in Texas to make a big pot of that!
