  • Make it tighter on your wrist. i just got mine last week. My HR has been reading 130-140 and i burned ~400 cals for 30min swim. I'm sure my HR is higher than that but ill take it. I still like the garmin overall.

  • um, i went to a sporting shoe store that offered to do a test that measured your arch, stride and what not. Then they recommended shoes to me. I ended up buying New Balance shoes. i paid $140ish. That was 2 years ago and they are great. My husband also bought New Balance shoes.

  • I change the fruits every week. Last week it was cantaloupe and papaya this week it is honey dew melon and asian pear (the texture is way better than a normal pear!) Jicama is also a good option. :)
  • I also drink my protein shake after my workout like the previous posters. I like to drink them to add protein to my diet as well. I use "Optimum Nutrition" Brand. They have tons of flavors. I've tried Mint Chocoalte, Double Rich Chocoalte, Caramel Toffee fudge and Mocha Cappccino. So, far all are quite tasty. :)
