I have the Ellie brand blueberry quark in my fridge right now. It's tangy but not sour. The red velvet flavour is good with protein powder in a smoothie.

While I don't have as much to lose I'm a huge Sharks fan. You can do it!

The eggplant wraps. Bake those in the oven and they're delicious!
-
I don't think they sell anything cheaper than 10 for $8, at least nothing that's any good.

I'm going to keep breakfast and lunch small. Thanksgiving dinner only comes once a year.

Also when I was a kid I used to sit in front of the TV with a bag of sugar and a spoon. To this day I'm amazed I didn't get diabetes. Also I would eat an entire bag of goldfish crackers in one sitting quite often.

My Friday routine used to be no breakfast, then a baja fresh bean and cheese burrito with chips, salsa, and a large soda refilled multiple times for lunch. Then I would go to the Japanese market and get rice balls, chocolate, and sweet rolls to eat throughout the day. Dinner was about 3 bowls of curry with rice and…

Made some salmon teriyaki and Japanese vegetables simmered in broth. There goes all my sodium!

I haven't been to Chili's in a little while, but looking at the nutrition information I'm guessing there's a bit of butter on there. I don't remember if it has seasoning salt but I put it on anyway whenever making broccoli. Steamed broccoli is pretty hard to mess up so I'd just go for it.

I work an opening shift at a Starbucks in an upscale mall on Black Friday. Wish me luck. On the plus side, that'll be my workout for the day.

Boil spinach for about a minute, shock it in cold water to stop the cooking. Squeeze out the water and chop it into bite sized pieces. Then add some soy sauce and sesame seeds and/or paste. It's a nice side dish, but I wouldn't make a meal out of it.

There's a really good Japanese dish called soboro don. It's ground chicken and egg over rice. Of course, you can skip the if you're trying to cut calories and/or carbs. http://www.justonecookbook.com/recipes/tori-soboro-donburi/

Shirataki is made from a flower of a mountain yam. I've never heard of it being unhealthy. It has negligible calories and a small amount of fiber. When cooking it, parboil or microwave and then drain it. That helps it absorb the flavor of whatever sauce or broth you put it in. And to noriny, I've used that brand before and…

I do that with frozen waffles... which I am now craving... thanks.

When I was a kid a would just sit in front of the TV with a bag of sugar and a spoon. Seriously how did I get fat? I also used to shred string cheese and wrap it around goldfish crackers.

Man, I love cooking but I never remember to take photos because I don't have an easy way to upload them. Tonight was open faced tuna melts with caramelized onion and fig. Dessert was pumpkin pie baked in the pumpkin! It accidentally turned into a souffle in the oven though.

I understand how you feel. I remember looking at my stretch marks and feeling like I had done permanent damage to my body. I've been overweight my entire life up until now, and I've also been on a medication known to cause weight gain my entire life (and still am). But I started to think about it a different way lately. My…

If they're plain, unflavored oats you can also use them for baking cookies, brownies, cakes, etc.

Thanks for the input. That's what it's set at right now but I wanted to make sure I wasn't miles off base.

A sudden change in diet can cause hormonal and chemical changes in your body. Your body is expecting junk food, so when it get's something else it might over or under compensate. Breaking out is a side effect of these changes. Just keep doing what your doing and your body will level itself out soon. Drink lot's of water…

Pizza bread on crusty Italian loaf with mozzarella, ricotta, and balsamic roasted pear and figs. Step-brother made bread pudding for dessert. Next time I'll try to remember to take photos of what I cook.

Hello I would give a longer response but Fanime starts in 33 hours and I'm rushing prepare everything for my artist alley table.
-
I'm preparing for FanimeCon and Anime Expo right now (Artist Alley table at both) which I go to every year. When I'm stuck behind a table I don't get as much of the all day walking, but still a few hours on my feet every day. My friend and I plan to cook a TON the day before the con and bring lunch and snacks with us in a…

Maybe I need to start lifting heavy so I can fit all this delicious looking food.

I'm super vanilla. No tattoos (not allowed for Jews) and basic one hole ear piercings. Maybe it's because of my art background but I'm SUPER picky when it comes to finding tattoos attractive. But don't get me wrong, I've seen absolutely gorgeous ones!

I've never thought of learning those complex dances as a form of exercise, that's a great idea! You can add me if you want, I have 89lbs to lose, +/- 10lbs, and I'm getting pretty close! Walking is a good way to start, and early mornings are soooo calming. Add me if you want, and good luck! ETA - I also deal with anxiety,…

I eat it maybe 3-4 times a week. I love their bowls so much because I can eat it slowly while doing my work. I end up super full for 580kcal. I go in so often I feel like the employees are judging me...

I saw a few Kings fans in the thread but I'm sorry my San Jose Sharks destroyed the Kings in the first two games.

Wow your phone looks so much smaller in the second photo I can't even recognize it! Kidding. Great job! You look fantastic!

Pumpkin pancakes are the reason I haven't yet lost faith in the world.
