Platue help
I'm feeling discouraged. I've lost about 10lbs and already hit a platue. I'm getting married in 18 months and would like to be as lean as possible before then. Yes I'm aware I have time but I don't know how long this platue will last. I really want to get below 200lbs before August 1st (about 15lbs away) but now I'm scared…

It's worse than I thought
I stepped on the scale this morning and, well, see title. I'm almost back to my original starting weight and I'm so, SO mad and myself and disappointed. But I have no one to blame but myself and I know that. I originally lost like 75lbs and and gained it back slowly over the course of like 5 years. I never wanted to be…

How active am I?
So about 2 months ago I got a job as a Starbucks barista. I spend an average of 23 hours a week on my feet walking back and forth behind the counter, carrying gallons of milk, buckets of ice, cases of pastries, etc. The rest of the time I'm either in school (sedentary), doing homework (sedentary), drawing (sedentary), or…

Question for all my trans friends
Let me start out by saying I'm not transgender/transsexual and the last thing I want to do is offend anyone, so if anything I say is seen as offensive please let me know. Cool? Cool. So I have a friend I went to school with. About two weeks ago he went to a convention where he said he met some really awesome trans people…

WRONG DIRECTION SCALE!
Hello kind peeps of MFP, I was hoping you guys could help me figure out what I'm doing wrong because I'm ready to hit the wall in frustration. A few weeks ago I decided to take some advice and up my calories from 1200 to 1400, and that was hard because I was terrified of gaining and going back to where I was before. First…

Sodium???
I'm worried I'm eating too much sodium. The problem is that I eat turkey sandwiches most days of the week and that has a bunch of sodium in it. It gets really hard to find different types of healthy food on a college campus, and being an art student during finals season, I have little to know time to cook. Any suggestions?

Why am I NOT sore?
So, I just finished day 3 of the 30 day shred. Everyone says that they feel so sore at the beginning, but I don't. I push myself during the exercise, and my muscles burn while I'm working them, but the next day I'm not sore at all. I'm sweating and exhausted at the end of the video, but I'm worried I'm doing something…

Should I shred?
I'm contemplating doing the 30 day shred (I wanna make onederland before I go home for Christmas and surprise my family sooo bad), but I've never done something extreme like this. Is it something that someone who's pretty week who also has to go to class can do? Also, does the 20 minute work out replace any other cardio…

How much am I burning?
So, I know the only really effective way to know what your burning is with a HRM, but given that I don't own one, I'm asking for your help. http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2010/12/20/the-20-minute-hotel-workout/ I'm doing level 1 of that workout because I can do it my dorm room and people have told me it's important to add…

How can I work out without getting killed?
I'm a student in Philly and Hurricane Sandy is touching down. The gym in my dorm has floor to ceiling windows and I've been told to stay away from them during hurricanes. The problem is I don't want to miss two days of exercise in a row. Any workouts I can do in the safety of my cramped dorm room?

Time to change the change
I've been using the MFP app for about a month now on my phone, but I've been on my current diet for about 2-3 months. Slowly, my diet got more and more severe, and now I'm down to an average of 650-999 calories a day. Yes. I understand this is unhealthy. It's difficult when one part of my brain knows that and another just…
