  • Fantastic job! You look amazing!
  • Yes, this! Sautéed with onions and then add in black beans. Very filling!
  • My standby is nonfat plain yogurt with a tablespoon of peanut butter stirred in. Sometimes, I’ll drizzle honey and add a few dark chocolate chips.
  • I am trying to get refocused with my hectic schedule! I hope all is well!

  • The more the merrier!
  • Hi everyone! I have done several of Gretchen's (gkeith) challenges over the past 3 years. They are always fun! Feel free to send me a friend request. -Sarah

  • Team Carol here! She rocked it Sunday night!
  • Hey everyone! I am super stoked for the show to be back on! I have not done a Walking Dead Challenge before, but have participated in other challenges. I keep gaining and losing the same little bit so I am trying to get over this hurdle. My fitness level varies, so I figured I would start at the lowest and see what…
  • Beginner and Carol!
  • I am interested in the challenge and helping out if feasible. Let me know!
  • There are five of us (me, hubby, and three boys) and we spend about $800 a month including toiletries/paper products and our much needed craft beer. We live in Charlotte, NC.
  •  Her voice and THAT music!
  • I already drink a lot. Trust me, my bladder will agree  I just don't get why this only happens with night workouts and not morning ones.

  • I drink about 90 oz. of water a day. In the morning I drink 2 cups of coffee, so you would think I'd get a headache then when I workout vs. at night. I do not drink soda or anything else. If I workout in the evening it is after dinner, so maybe that has something to do with it.

  • What is your heart rate reading? I had issues with my last two Polar F4s for spikes in hr (up to 218) and my cals burned were crazy high. I got Polar to send me a new strap that you don't wash (just wipe down). Hopefully that will help. I know it sounds silly to remind you, but be sure the chest strap is on properly and…
  • I don't typically comment on sucess stories, but this is beautiful! Congrats to you from one momma to another! I can only imagine the struggles you overcame. You look great!
  • Trader Joe's is great and has a lot of minimally processed stuff. Beware though, there is quite a bit that is still considered "junk". My husband calls it "healthy junk". You need to read labels carefully. There are meats from out of the country, enriched flour/wheat, and foods with lots of sugar. Look for items with 5…
  • Do you have to eat there? Maybe eat before and skip the salty, fatty, "fake" McDonald's food.
  • ^^^This is what I do. I love plain Greek God yogurt the best. I can eat 1/2 cup plain as well. I will also use it (or Fage) in a green monster smoothie. Yum!
  • I haven't been to Pure Barre so I can't help you there. :frown: I am in Steele Creek, so that is a bit of a haul for me. As for exercise clothes, I pick up stuff on sale at Target, Old Navy, and Kohls. Back in college when I used to lifeguard, I bought cheap(er) Nike and TYR swimsuits at Marshalls. They always had a ton of…
  • Yep, swim away. I also have a Polar FT4 and wore it almost every day over the summer when I swam. Have fun
  • I also agree that you will have to play around with eating before and after to see what works for you. Personally, I get up and just go. No coffee or anything. After I get home and showered, I drink coffee and get a nice protein filled breakfast in. Good luck with your training!
  • I saw the post on CM about this. Some people I am already pals with on here, but feel free to friend me. I am Harlow0326 on CM. Maybe we can revive the group? :drinker: -Sarah

  • What an absolutely wonderful story! Thanks for sharing and congrats to you! You look great!
  • You ladies are rocking it! :drinker: I have had three boys (7, almost 6, and just turned 1). I gained 70 pounds my first pregnancy and went from 140 to 210 (yikes!). I got pregnant with my second son 6 months later (double yikes!). I never really lost too much weight over the years, but the worst was the 50 lb gain with my…
  • Finally done with Level 1! 30 days in a row seemed like such a no-brainer at the beginning and then LIFE hit. A couple days off to manage a crazy yard sale (plus my 3 boys) and I am back at it! I am still doing my C25K, which is great. I think I may do only 9 days of Level 2 and Level 3 to be done before my 5K on 11/3.

  • That is really up to you. I have seen everything from the first day home from the hospital to 6 weeks. To motivate my big tail to lose the baby weight, I started from what my exact weight was the day I went into the hospital. I gained 50 lbs this past pregnancy and in 11 months have lost it all and then some. Some may not…
