Sugar can make you fat and has no nutritional value so the less of that the better. So sugar, if your healthy, isn't bad. Salt on the other hand may be. Even if your healthy as a younger person it can have effects on you later in life so to me salt Is bad.

I question starvation mode as well. Unless you starve until you ruin your health or die your going to keep losing weight. Is it healthy to starve yourself to lose weight? Not at all and I am not advocating diets under 1200 calories. I just think starvation mode is actually ruining your health not holding onto fat.

As I sit here with my tea in my hand I thought this may help you. I drink Bigelow Mint Medley tea. It has 0 calories although I do add some sugar. Mint has been used as a folk remedy for upset stomach for centuries. Perhaps if you sip it that will help?

Although not healthy as long as you are within your goal you'll lose weight. Because I am addicted to chocolate and sugar I allow for a junk pig out once a week and allow for something sweet and chocolate each day. This works for me but you have to find your balance.

I pig out once a week on something I want and have chocolate milk every morning. It keeps me on track. Do what you need within reason. If it's a cookie or candy every day do it as long as you eat healthy the rest of the day.

Fast food, greasy food, artificial sweeteners and poor quality food. I just feel ill or like something is wrong. Salt makes me feel bloated.

I think it's good to indulge once a week when we are running a calorie deficit as long as we don't go over our maintenance calories. I like to eat a big piece of cake or some other sweet treat. In the grand scheme of things it will not matter to our weight loss but our soul will be enriched.

I'm 5 ft 1.75 in. My original goal was 115. A friend suggested 110 so I went to 110 and looked great. I am now at 106 and feel that looks best on me. I think once you get the unhealthy weight off your fine then you can tweak until you feel you look best as long as your not unhealthy thin.
