Thanks you all for your support, have lost 5lbs this week and have been some walking, although at the moment my back and hips are sore so taking a day off from walking today, but will be remaining under the calorie goal for today:)

I am starting by walking, flat walks first so that it doesn't strain on my hips as much, as well as the food intake. I am scared.. does that make sense? I am scared people with poke fun at me, I am scared that I am so used to the person that I am that I will not like the person whom I am going to change into....

Every comment on here has been so helpful! I have readjusted diet, started walking a little and bought a couple of DVDs which I am doing in the evenings occasionally. Been trying to avoid canteen food, as it's high in fat etc. Little steps, here goes!

I do weigh everything, I don't always eat my exercise calories back to be fair, I tend to think that I have burned it off why do I want to eat them back, I am drinking 2L of water a day, and walking every other day, no snacking at night time, (picked up a hobby instead) so I am avoiding the biscuits crisps etc too

I can't do really intense stuff due to joint issues, wanting something that is enough to make me lose the weight but not too high impact so that I am in pain. I suffer from pelvic girdle pain from my pregnancies and have to be careful on sleeping positions etc let alone high impact stuff :)
