I have cut down on my consumption of alcohol and when I do I drink maybe once a week. I'll have a "skinny" margarita. I don't drink soda's so I like to have flavored vodka and water!

Highest Weight 236lbs current weight 175lbs 61 lb loss! I feel fantastic at 50yrs old now, in my before pic I was 43yrs old. (and I'm a grandma)

Going to do Week 2 Day 3 today the last day I did I completed 1.8 miles in 31 min. I'm loving it!

LOL I'm freezing right now in my office...but I have always been that way even when I was 60 lbs heavier. I am also been anemic not sure if that matters!

You can add me I am 50y and have 2 physically grown children, LOL, 28 y daughter and 23 yr son. I have 3 granddaughters by my daughter which are 6,5 and 10months. I've been on MFP off n on since 2010 and I am now finding out what is truly working for me now! I've lost a total of 57lbs and still have more to go!

I would give it more time since you've done so well already in changing and the biggest part is "mindset" or "mind-change" You have to make it a "lifestyle change". Feel free to add me, I know I want to lose at least 50lbs more!

If you have problems digesting beans you need to start out small...like a 1/4 cup and eat some every other day to start then eat everyday so your body builds up tolerance to digest the beans. Then you will see a difference overtime. Beans are an excellent source of fiber and protein!

I get that way too, mostly when I'm lifting weights and/or bending over and back up. I have always been anemic and found it is NOT from Iron Deficiency. If you eat them occasionally and don't have a problem, some people can't control portion and end up eating too much of "junk food" that's why people get into the shape they are in, at least for my past. If you can eat them and be in perfect health you are probably one of very few people, congrats!

Yes, if you're not careful you can still eat unhealthy and choose foods that are not the best just because they are vegan or plant based. Such as Oreo cookies and junk. That's why I try to eliminate most processed foods best I can. And limit my animal products to 3x a week minimum.

my restrictions for "me" are no dairy products, eating plant based meaning fresh fruits and veggies, beans, nuts, seeds. Trying to stay away from most processed foods. Of course I do eat some bread on occasion. Trying to limit my animal products to only 3 times a week.
