I think it really depends. I don't think it's healthy if a person has a pre-exercise calorie limit and is staying under that consistantly but I think it's okay when they've earned a bunch a exercise calories and don't eat them all back.

If you have the willpower, keep the Fun Size in the freezer. It takes longer to eat a frozen funsize than a room temp full size so you get the taste you want/need in a smaller portion but the enjoyment lasts longer!

I was talking to a guy online. For whatever reason, he couldn't see my photos. I sent some to him and I never heard from him again :-( I know that I deserve to be with a guy who wants me for me but it was the push I needed to get this done...I've been trying to lose this weight for a few years now and I'm finally making it…

I'll weigh more around that time too. One thing I noticed a few years ago when I was eating really healthy and losing weight (I'm a flip flopper but trying to be good forever this time around) was that I stopped getting cramps and bloated. The pain and monthly weight gain/water retention came back as soon as I started…

So I shouldn't feel bad that it's been over an hour and my tree is still up??? At least my laundry is almost done!

I'm not sure what kind of rowing machine you're working on. I've never been on one where you can regulate the restance but I've seen some newer looking ones popping up that I haven't tried yet. With that said. I had a short stint on the rowing team in college and the most of power should be coming from your legs. To…

My fake tree is still up. I kept a live tree up until the end of January once and scratched the hell out of my arms when I finally dragged it out. Don't judge me :-(

I know it can be frustrating when the people around you aren't supportive of your goals but try to focus on the positive people and why you're doing this. Your health is more important then anything that those other people say or do to sabotage you.

I just bought a Polar FT40. It's in the higher price bracket but there are more affordable ones and Polar had the best overall reviews when I was doing my research. I've only had mine about a week but I love it so far becuase I've been frustrated with my lack of progress and I'm now realizing that MFP has been giving me…

Whoops! Apparently I'm not good at the whole message board thing. This was directed to someone who said they're moving to TX soon.

Are you a hiker? I live about an hour from San Antonio and am always looking for hiking buddies! I also peeked at your profile and saw that you want to run the Marine Corps Marathon. I ran it back in 2007 and it was awesome! I can barely run 3 miles now though and I'm trying to get back into it.

I had the same problem everytime I lose a large amount of weight. I finally recognized the change the last time when I went dress shopping and tried on an evening gown as a joke. I put it on, looked in the mirror and saw a thin and pretty person for the first time in my life. It was way too expensive and fancy for the…
